Manchester United’s plans in jeopardy – Barcelona pushing to sign “new Neymar”

of manchester united Gabriel Veneno’s attempts to establish himself quickly are already facing a serious problem: Barcelona are aggressively pursuing the Atletico Mineiro teenager.

Recent reports suggest United was ramping up its background work At the age of 16. They are also maintaining close contact around one of Brazil’s hottest prospects.

However, according to espn brazilThe Catalan club is now trying to take the lead in the race.

Barcelona want to secure a deal for Veneno before he even makes his professional debut for Atletico Mineiro, the report says.

While FIFA rules prevent any move before he turns 18, the Spanish side reportedly want to close the operation early and avoid lengthy battles with Premier League clubs later on.

Barcelona’s strategy was prepared

According to ESPN Brazil, Barcelona’s plan will be to initially keep Veneno in their B team. This would follow a path that had previously been used with other Brazilian prospects arriving in Spain at a young age.

The deal has not yet been reported as advanced. Still, the financial scale already shows how seriously Kishore is being viewed.

ESPN say the transfer could ultimately reach £17 million (€20 million). This is a huge figure for a player who is yet to make his professional debut.

Therefore, Manchester United may already be aware that simply monitoring the situation will not be enough if they really want to compete for the forward.

Comparisons to the “new Neymar” are already visible

The report also claims that Spanish sources have started comparing Veneno to Neymar.

Labels like this always require caution, especially around a 16-year-old. Even in Brazil, people are urging peace despite the heavy publicity around them. Still, attention continues to grow.

Veneno and his snakebite story Has already become one of the most talked-about academy players in Brazilian football.

Atlético Mineiro see him as a major long-term asset and recently, reports in Brazil suggested that the club was relaxed about European interest as no concrete talks had taken place.

The tone of Barcelona’s movement seems to be changing slightly. For Manchester United, this could be considered a battle that may require real action sooner than expected.

Newcastle United’s interest ’embryonic’ and complex – Eddie Howe personally keen

Newcastle United’s The interest in Danilo is genuine, but the situation appears to be much less advanced than some other Premier League links surrounding the Botafogo midfielder.

Fresh reports from the Brazilian centering heavily on Newcastle’s internal discussions suggest the Magpies are seriously considering whether to make a move for the Brazil international after the season ends. However, the story also comes with several important caveats.

Currently, it is still described as an “embryonic” thing rather than a concrete conversation, As we covered earlier.

eddie howe likes danilo

One thing that stands out is Eddie Howe’s obvious admiration for the player.

according to espn brazilThe Newcastle United manager knows Danilo well and likes his profile. This alone adds value to the story, especially as the midfielder has become one of Brazil’s most talked-about players this season.

Danilo has already scored 9 goals and provided 2 assists in 21 appearances for Botafogo and Brazil combined in 2026, extraordinary numbers for a central midfielder. His performances pushed him firmly onto Carlo Ancelotti’s World Cup list.

Newcastle are clearly aware of that upward trajectory.

Complications for Newcastle

Plus, the reporting makes it clear why Newcastle haven’t stepped things up yet. And the first issue is financial.

Botafogo are still expecting around €40 million (£34 million) after the World Cup, and Newcastle internally consider that figure too high. The club knows they will need a major investment to complete the deal.

The second issue is of sports. Danilo wants to play champions league footballBut Newcastle will miss out on Europe altogether next season. This has weakened their position in the race compared to other English clubs. And this appears to be a ‘breaking point’ for the player.

There is also a squad question. As was pointed out during ESPN’s discussion, Newcastle already have Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali in midfield, so the position is not seen as an immediate weakness. Only if either of those two players were to be sold, would Danilo become a priority target.

There is still a possibility of the Premier League returning

That context makes it quite different from armory statuswhere the gunners have already approached Danilo’s camp, or Manchester UnitedWho has recently made a new contact with Botafogo.

But despite those complications, Newcastle are now part of the wider Premier League picture around Danilo. And that picture keeps getting bigger.

The midfielder looks ready to leave Botafogo, especially after the World Cup After being sidelined by the club From training sessions and matches until his future became clear. The Brazilian club is openly prioritizing a European sale amid huge financial pressure.

Danilo also wants another chance in England after his mixed spell at Nottingham Forest. So despite the hurdles, particularly around Newcastle, the wider Premier League route still looks very live for him.

Andrei Kanchelskis supports Russian Manchester United’s decision

Manchester United favorite Andrei Kanchelskis has shared his opinion on youngster Amir Ibragimov’s call-up to the Russia national team.

Sport-Express Report Comments The 18-year-old was today a surprise inclusion in Russia’s squad for upcoming international friendlies after the former winger.

Russia’s surprising call

Sport Witness covered a report last week Having said that, it would be a surprise to see Amir Ibragimov included in the group for the upcoming games against Egypt, Burkina Faso and Trinidad.

It appears that the country is committed to keeping an eye on emerging talent for the future. And Kanchelskis believes it is the right decision for his nation.

“Are we going to the World Cup or the European Championship? We’re not participating in anything, so we might as well watch that,” he told S.E.

“Basically, we can now invite players we’ve been keeping an eye on for a while and watch them. Because once we start playing in all the tournaments, we won’t have time to watch them.

“There’s a lot of talk about Ibragimov, so we’ll see how he is. There’s nothing wrong with it; I think it’s the right decision.”

England eligibility

The question is whether the Manchester United youngster will be denied international options in the future.

The youngster is currently eligible for Russia and England. He was born in Byunask, Republic of Dagestan and holds Russian citizenship. But when he was 11 years old he moved to England and started his career in Sheffield United’s academy.

He joined Manchester United in 2021 and has played for England at U15 and U16 level. So, playing for Russia could block him for the Three Lions.

However, according to championatHe is eligible to play for both countries. They have also contacted lawyer Mikhail Prokopets, who insists that this is the case. According to both, playing friendly matches will not prevent Ibragimov from playing for England in the future.

Even at senior level friendly matches are not considered “Matches in official competitions” According to FIFA terminology.

“This should be distinguished from the theoretical situation where Amir plays for any Russian national team in any official match (Euro, World Cup or qualifying match),” Prokopets said in an interview with Championat correspondent Yegor Kabak.

“In that case, if the player subsequently wishes to play for the England national team, he must apply to FIFA to change his nationality.”

Manchester United’s Casemiro hits back at Carragher and brings Liverpool’s loss into the equation

Manchester United Midfielder Casemiro has generally responded directly to criticism from Jamie Carragher. And liverpool Ultimately he was also included in the conversation.

Carragher questioned Casemiro’s level early this season, particularly during periods when the midfielder lost his place and looked physically weak. At the time, many people wondered whether Manchester United was taking on a declining player on a huge salary.

A few months later, the mood looks very different.

Casemiro fought his way back into the team, becoming important again, scoring goals and helping United out of difficult moments. so when tnt sports brazil After Carragher’s comments were brought up, the midfielder clearly had some fun with the reply.

Casemiro counter-attacks Carragher

“Everyone on television says anything. I’m not one to engage in them,” Casimiro said.

“But it’s a bit normal, because I won two Champions League titles on his team. Maybe there is some bitterness there after winning two titles against his club.”

The Manchester United midfielder paused. In fact, he credited Carragher with ultimately changing his stance.

“I respect his opinion. I hold no resentment. The important thing is that he recognized he was wrong and changed his opinion. That’s what matters most.”

Still, Casemiro clearly seems tired of the modern football cycle of outrage.

“Nowadays everyone has an opinion, everyone wants to go viral. Everyone thinks they know football, everyone thinks they’re a star, everyone thinks they understand everything. Today if you win, you’re the best and if you lose, you’re the worst. But football isn’t always like that.”

He also explained why he avoids social media completely.

“That’s why I don’t even have social media on my phone. Everyone wants attention now.”

Casemiro says return changed manager’s opinion

The Brazilian also revealed what he considers one of the biggest achievements of his career – changing Ruben Amorim’s mind.

At one point this year, Amorim did not trust him physically. Casemiro admitted that the manager had openly questioned whether he still had the required intensity.

Instead of accepting the situation and quietly moving towards the exit, the midfielder decided to fight back.

“One of the greatest achievements of my career was to come back and change a manager’s opinion,” He said.

“He said I didn’t have intensity. Then later he admitted he changed his opinion because of what he saw in training sessions and matches.”

Casemiro also admitted that many players would have been mentally tired in that situation.

“With all humility, the easiest thing would be to say: ‘The manager doesn’t want me? OK. I’ve already won everything, I’ve achieved enough, let it go.’ But no. I kept working. I kept trying to show the manager that he was wrong about me.

Ultimately that persistence bore fruit.

“I managed to change their opinion. I started playing again and had a great end to the season.”

Strong support for Michael Carrick

Casemiro also used the interview to strongly endorse Carrick’s work at Manchester United.

The Brazilian repeatedly praised the interim manager and made it clear that he believes Carrick should stay long-term.

“He came in as interim manager, but he handled the difficult matches very well,” Casimiro explained. “He knows the club, he understands what Manchester United is. He has class. He has the currency of a Manchester United man.”

“For me, this guy has to stay at the club for more years because he deserves it. He deserves it so much.”

Casemiro even suggested that Carrick’s personality is evident behind the scenes.

“When you work with him every day, you look at him and think: ‘This guy deserves this.'”

Casemiro has already done Confirmed he will leave Manchester United At the end of the season. Yet just before walking away, he managed to craft one final comeback story, silencing some critics and taking a dig at Liverpool while doing so.

Manchester United’s breakout star – 8 goals and 11 assists sparks transfer interest

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Alfonso Moreira after the winger’s exceptional performances for Olympique Lyonnais this season have made him one of the more talked-about young players in Europe.

The 21-year-old has scored eight goals and provided 11 assists throughout the campaign. Those returns have been instrumental in pushing Lyon towards Champions League qualification, with the club now sitting in a direct qualification place for the first time since 2019/20.

Moreira’s influence has been steady rather than sporadic. He continues to influence games at the start and from the bench, often making the difference in difficult moments.

He arrived from Sporting CP at the start of the season for just €2m (£1.7m). Since then, their growth has been rapid. Lyon are already discussing a contract adjustment, even though his current deal runs until 2030. His salary is one of the lowest in the team, which no longer reflects his role.

Building interest across Europe

That growth has naturally attracted attention. According to Portuguese outlet to ballManchester United is one of the clubs that has already checked on the player.

Serie A and Bundesliga teams are also closely monitoring his progress as they look for attacking reinforcements ahead of next season.

For United, the timing is relevant. The club is preparing for changes in the summer, especially in the advanced areas. Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee have all been linked with a possible exit.

All three act in similar roles to Moreira. Therefore, any departure could open up both squad space and financial room for a move.

Sporting clause and rising valuation

The emergence of Afonso Moreira has also brought benefits for Sporting CP. The Portuguese club secured 20% of any future profit from selling him.

His market value is currently around €10m (£8.7m), which represents a sharp rise from his initial fee. However, much higher demand is expected if Lyon considers a sale in the short term.

For example, a transfer worth €20m (£17.4m) would generate around €3.6m (£3.1m) for Sporting. This segment ensures that they remain invested in its trajectory.

what happens next

Afonso Moreira has shown that he can operate in a variety of tactical roles. Under manager Paulo Fonseca, he has also covered the entire flank in a back-three system.

Their success has also been helped by injuries to players like Malik Fofana and Ernest Nuamah. Nevertheless, he has persevered with that opportunity and made it hard for himself to leave.

For Manchester United, the next step depends on outgoings and priorities. They are clearly assessing a wider range of options, and Moreira has come up on that list.

Lyon are in control due to his long contract. If they secure Champions League football, their position will be further strengthened.

England’s interest is expected to continue. The coming months will reveal whether this turns out to be a concrete move or remains at the scouting level.

Manchester United’s wage flop continues transfer woes – long-term suitors may look elsewhere

Joshua Zirkzee’s wages Manchester United Despite being on target for a long time, the injury remains a problem for Napoli.

Corriere del Mezzogiorno Report Zirkzee’s current wage packet of €4.3m a year ‘could tempt Napoli to look elsewhere’ this summer.

napoli wants a new striker

The newspaper reports that Napoli are looking for a replacement for Rasmus Hjolund, who would be signed on a permanent basis in the summer.

Romelu Lukaku is currently an alternative option but is expected to leave in the summer. The Belgian has fallen out with those in charge at the club after choosing to remain in Belgium for injury treatment against Napoli’s wishes.

This spoiled their relations, they were already in trouble in the media. Sporting director Giovanni Manna is already targeting a replacement.

A list has been drawn up and Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is on it. The Dutchman is a long-term target for those in charge in Naples.

However, his €4.3m salary is a problem. Indeed, the newspaper says it is an issue that may suggest Napoli could look elsewhere for a lower-cost deal instead. Brighton’s Ivan Ferguson is also on their list.

Listen to Manchester United offer

This has become clear from recent reports Manchester United will listen to offers However, for Joshua Zirkzee this summer.

Perhaps if there is an opportunity to save money on that front, Napoli will be able to get a deal done with the striker over the line. Even in that scenario, it seems they need the 24-year-old to contribute.

Corriere del Mezzogiorno has not clarified by how much he needs to reduce his salary. But any real possibility of a transfer happening this summer is likely to cost a significant amount. It seems the ball is completely in the Dutchman’s court.

Manchester United’s strength in Liverpool transfer – €45-50m to start talks

Liverpool target Francisco Conceição
Liverpool target Francisco Conceição

Manchester United And liverpool Juventus’ signing Francisco Conceicao has been added to their agenda for the summer.

His performances for the Serie A team have drawn attention from both Manchester United and Liverpool.

After scoring 11 goals and 13 assists in 93 matches for the Dragons, Juve signed the winger from FC Porto in July 2025 for €32m.

Since moving to Italy, he has scored four goals and provided four assists in 38 appearances.

His Serie A statistics this season are as follows:

  • Appearances: 27
  • Start: 23
  • Total minutes: 1,796
  • Target: 3
  • Assist: 4
  • Expected target: 5.91
  • Expected Support: 4.01
  • Key passes per game: 1.1
  • Shots on goal per game: 0.7
  • Big chances made: 4
  • Big chances missed: 8

On March 27, Khel Witness Covered claims from Italy Making the Reds’ first contact on the right wing. Arne Slot’s side are looking for a right winger to replace Mohamed Salah, who will leave Anfield after this season.

Manchester United and Liverpool in the mix

gazzetta dello sport Let’s just say he has attracted the attention of Liverpool and the Red Devils, even if his goal and assist numbers are not that impressive.

The Merseyside club see the Portugal international’s profile as similar to that of Mohamed Salah.

Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has previously managed the Egyptian at AS Roma. On the tension between the Liverpool star and Francisco Conceição, he said: “The comparison is apt.”

“He’s a young boy, he’s still got a lot of experience to gain, he needs to convince himself that he can play a bit inside, and having a man behind him shouldn’t worry him. If he gets the ball outside and faces you, though, he goes unmarked.”

“He needs to improve the quality of his shot, because Salah is top notch, but Conceicao has such intensity and toughness in one-on-one situations that it becomes really difficult to keep up with him.”

Manchester United have now joined Liverpool in the race for the current Juve attacker. The Old Trafford club move up to third, 11 points ahead of sixth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion after a 2-1 win over Brentford.

Michael Carrick’s side are likely to return to the Champions League and hope to improve their attack. Gazzetta says the 23-year-old could be an option.

Juventus still have a €25.6m fee to amortise. Therefore, the Old Lady will not start any negotiations below the ‘current budget’ of €25.6m.

Gazzetta believes a fee of around €45-50m is needed to convince Juve and that fee could rise if he is to shine at the World Cup.

Contract, price and agent information

Francisco Conceição’s contract expires in 2030, and transfer market He is worth €30 million.

The agency Gestifute, headed by super-agent Jorge Mendes, is representing him. The agent has good relations with both Manchester United and Liverpool.

Director responds to Newcastle United’s huge transfer claims – dictating the situation as he sees it

nick voltmade
Newcastle, United Kingdom – 10 21 2025: Jacob Murphy and Nick Volte are seen during the Champions League tie stage game between Newcastle United FC and SL Benfica.

Borussia Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken has quieted rumors of a move to sign Jadon Sancho or Nick Voldemort from Manchester United. newcastle united in this summer.

Sportbild had a big interview with the Dortmund chief today In which the newspaper directly handed over the rumors of transfer of both the players to them.

Dortmund hope to undertake some rebuilding this summer, with high-profile departures planned in several areas.

Newcastle United striker not on transfer agenda

Chief among those exiting will be Serhou Guirassi. There is a release clause in his contract and he is reportedly looking to depart for new pastures, perhaps in England.

Reports have already linked Tottenham with an interest in the striker. A report in March said they had sent an officer and negotiations were ongoing.

His departure will leave a void, and a recent report has linked Newcastle United striker Nick Voltemed with a move. Some sources, despite outright denials, have believed he could be considering leaving St James’ Park this summer.

Reports immediately named Dortmund as potential suitors, but Ricken poured cold water on that idea.

“This is the first I’m hearing about it. Cold trail. The following applies here too: We have this profile in two versions,” he said of the Newcastle striker.

This response follows a similar reply to the idea of signing Fisnik Aslani this summer.

“We have Serhou Guerresi and Fabio Silva in this position. I think we are in an excellent position here,” he said.

In other words, Dortmund would need to let go of one player before looking for another. Thus, the Newcastle United striker is not on the radar yet.

A different story with Sancho

However, a move for Jadon Sancho is a different story. The 26-year-old will leave Manchester United when his contract expires this summer.

A return to Borussia Dortmund for a third spell has been gathering momentum for months. In fact, Reports in Germany suggest Dortmund are open to the idea.

Riken did not confirm this directly. Instead, he said the club was still assessing options behind the scenes.

“At the moment we are working with a number of players and screening them. We will check if you can make us better and we will do the same with Jadon,” he said.

What this means for Dortmund’s summer

Lars Ricken’s comments paint a clear picture of Dortmund refusing to rush into anything.

Jadon Sancho is on their list because he is leaving Manchester United, that’s clear. But right now they are assessing it. Meanwhile, Nick Voltmead is not the target.

Dortmund are happy to quash rumors regarding the Newcastle United striker for the time being. In fact, it looks like they want to pour cold water over it.

The German side clearly wants to hold its cards and has sent RIKEN in to pour cold water on any potential fires for the time being.

What to expect from Newcastle United’s new signings – internal uplift and playing style

newcastle united

Newcastle United have already secured their next long-term project, with Johan Martínez set to join from Independiente del Valle when he turns 18.

The club is investing early in high-end South American talents, aiming to develop rather than react late to the market. we covered efforts Made in that direction by clubs in Brazil.

Martínez is only 16 years old. However, his profile has already reached far beyond Ecuador. Scouts from across Europe have kept a close eye on him, including clubs such as FC Barcelona and Bayer Leverkusen. So Newcastle have moved forward decisively.

Background and development

Johan Martínez was born in 2009 and comes from one of the most productive academies in South America. Independiente del Valle has built a reputation for producing elite level players including Moises Caicedo, Piero Hincapie and Willian Pacho.

That context matters. Newcastle United aren’t just signing a talented winger. They are benefiting from a development pipeline that has consistently provided Europe-ready players.

Martínez already has standing within that system. He played a key role in the club’s U17 team, which won its category title. In those age groups, he has been viewed as one of the standout attacking talents.

how johan martinez plays

Johan Martínez is a left-footed winger, but his versatility is one of his defining qualities. He can operate on either flank, which would help Newcastle United attract chances.

When deployed on the right, he plays on his natural left foot. This allows him to penetrate inside, attack defenders directly and look for shots or the final pass. When used on the left, he remains wide and looks to beat his man before delivering a cross.

His strongest qualities are obvious:

  • 1v1 ability: Martínez thrives in isolation. He takes on defenders repeatedly and with confidence. At youth level, he is often described as “invincible” in these situations.
  • Dribbling and close control: He holds the ball tightly to his feet at speed, making it difficult to dislodge him from the ball.
  • Acceleration and Speed: His first steps are explosive, leaving him isolated in tight spaces.
  • Ambidextrous Dexterity: Although he naturally plays with his left foot, he is comfortable using both feet, which increases his unpredictability.

There is also a playful edge to his game. For a 16-year-old, he already shows strong vision and a wide passing range.

Some observers have also drawn stylistic comparisons with Ousmane Dembélé. This comparison focuses on his ability to use both feet, his directness and his willingness to take risks in attacking areas.

Watching him start and finish the game using only one leg, then switch to the other using only the other is interesting and quite exciting. It’s a rare skill, backed by pure talent and instinct.

Strategic Profile and Projection

Johan Martínez fits the modern winger profile that Newcastle United are leaning towards. He is dynamic, vertical and comfortable playing transition football.

It is suitable for systems that:

  • Give priority to quick attacks
  • Isolate the wingers against the full-backs
  • demand width and straightness

At this level, his game is naturally raw. Decision-making and consistency will be required in the final third. This is expected considering his age.

However, the main tools are already in place. Newcastle are effectively betting on his ceiling rather than his current output.

Next steps at Newcastle United

Johan Martínez will not arrive immediately. FIFA rules mean he has to wait until he turns 18 before moving to England. So, Newcastle is planning ahead.

This deal is about timing. By acting now, Newcastle will avoid a bidding war later. At the same time, they allow the player to continue development in a familiar environment.

For Newcastle United, it is another sign of a comprehensive recruitment strategy. They are not just targeting established names. They are also building a pipeline of elite young talent.

If Martínez progresses as expected, he could arrive in England with significant promotion already in place. The club will then need to manage its integration carefully.

However, the focus is clear right now. Newcastle have secured one of South America’s most exciting young wingers before the rest of the market has fully caught on.

Nick Voltemed questions Eddie Howe in Germany – does he not suit Newcastle United’s tactics

nick voltmade
Newcastle, United Kingdom – 10 21 2025: Jacob Murphy and Nick Volte are seen during the Champions League tie stage game between Newcastle United FC and SL Benfica.

Nick Voltemed has hit out at the growing criticism that his form is being misunderstood because he is no longer playing as a striker.

22 year old striker Speaking to SueddeutscheZeitungWho asked him about his current downfall at St. James’s Park.

He scored several goals in the Premier League, making him an instant fan favourite.

While other big signings struggled elsewhere, He looked ready for the Premier League. Then the goals slowed down and the questions started. Speaking about it now, he dismissed the idea that he had “lost the thread”.

“I don’t look at it as negatively as from the outside, for me it’s still a normal process,” He said.

“Of course, you can look at it from the outside and say: He only scored one goal in the New Year, what’s wrong with that? But anyone who really knows my game knows why that is.”

A very different Newcastle United role

Pressed on what has changed, Nick Voltemed explained that he has been deployed much further away from the penalty area. Newcastle now often uses him as a midfielder.

“I’m playing in a very different position than at the beginning of the season,” He added.

“Recently in the game against Chelsea, I played some kind of man-to-man coverage against Cole Palmer in midfield, and he is an attacking ten. You can imagine what areas I was traveling across the field.

“I know you associate me with goals, but you can’t compare the goal percentage of a striker with that of a midfielder who plays 50, 60, 70 meters from the opposition goal.

“I’m a completely different Nick Voltmead than I was at the beginning of the season. At this point, I have to be rated more on how I lead my duels or secure positions.”

Nick Voltmead’s broken rhythm

Nick Woltemade is happy to admit that goals have slowed down, but he’s not too worried. Instead he insists that the change is part of his ongoing Newcastle United development.

“Of course, I score very few goals,” He said.

“But I’m completely relaxed, I don’t think it’s a bad thing to expand my repertoire. This is the job I’ve got, and I’m trying to master it. And I believe it will make me stronger in the long run, if I learn to deal with such stages as well.”

He is also pushing for suggestions of a form crisis. Instead he believes there are no critics watching Newcastle regularly.

“The irritation may be too much, but it bothers me. I’m playing half left or half right in a five-man midfield at the moment and would like to be assessed based on this profile. If someone’s form shows signs of distress, I’d just say he doesn’t watch many Newcastle United games.”

eddie howe is not the problem

The striker is also ready to support his manager. Eddie Howe has faced criticism for his use of the striker and deploying him deeper. There have been suggestions that he does not like making big signings in the summer.

However, Nick Voldemort did not like this suggestion, as it had worked well at the beginning of the season.

“I don’t think you can say that. It worked well for me in attack in the first few months,” When asked directly whether he did not fit into Howe’s strategy, he argued.

Instead, Woltemade believes that other factors such as injuries have forced Howe to reshuffle things to try to fit them in.

“Many things have come together. First Bruno Guimarães is out, our playmaker, and then some other midfielders. We are not an individual athlete, but a team. It is normal that you have to help as a player in other positions.” He concluded.

“I played a position forward, and I think I performed quite well there. In any case, the coach was satisfied with me. At the same time he could have wished for a little more depth in the attacking centre. Of course, a player like Anthony Gordon can give us that.”

The club made several attempts to sign Manuel Ugarte – the key to Manchester United’s big exit yesterday

Manchester United's Manuel Ugarte is of interest to Serie A clubs
Manchester United’s Manuel Ugarte is of interest to Serie A clubs

Manuel Ugarte has largely disappointed since joining Manchester United from Paris Saint-Germain in 2024. His exit from Old Trafford is now certain.

The Uruguayan has played just 791 minutes in the Premier League so far this season. His last start came against Burnley and since then, he has been on the bench four times under Michael Carrick.

sports witness He made no secret of his frustration at the 24-year-old’s lack of game time when explaining his stance to the Uruguayan press earlier this month.

The midfielder’s situation is catching the attention of Juventus, who are now keeping a close eye on the former PSG man.

juventus will explore ugarte

gazzetta dello sport The report says the midfielder will feature in Uruguay’s friendly against Algeria on Tuesday. Coincidentally, the match will be played at the Allianz Stadium and this will help Juve defeat Ugarte.

Sporting director Marco Ottolini is keen on the prospect of bringing him to Turin in the summer. He will keep a close eye on the Manchester United player, who has been the subject of interest for the Old Lady in the past.

During the player’s time at Sporting, Juve attempted to execute a deal for Ugarte. Even during his ongoing tenure at Old Trafford, attempts were made to sign him on loan last July.

Tuesday’s game could give Juve the perfect opportunity to take a closer look at the player. If things go well, Ugarte could top the Bianconeri’s summer shortlist for midfield signings.

Our opinion: Manchester United should cut their losses

It doesn’t feel like Ugarte is offering enough to the current team. That’s why Manchester United are considering midfield signings that will take that position to a new level in the summer.

Keeping him around long-term would derail the Uruguay international’s career and could see his value drop further.

Manchester United could use the money gained from Ugarte’s exit to help bring in another midfielder. A good World Cup for the player would do wonders to boost his fee, Juventus’ interest could only help further.

‘All motivation lost’ – players’ attitude questioned due to Newcastle United’s ‘special interest’

marcus thurm

Marcus Thuram has had one of the disappointing parts of Inter Milan’s Serie A season. Newcastle United are being increasingly tipped as a contender to sign the Frenchman.

The striker has scored 12 times in all competitions, finding the net seven times in Serie A. But his general performances have declined, with him being criticized for missing big chances throughout the campaign.

due to this corriere dello sport It was reported earlier this week that his release clause of €85 million might no longer even be relevant. Sport Witness covered interest from Newcastle United, with Aston Villa also in the running.

Now, there is growing talk in Italy that Thuram will be on his way out of Inter. Big question marks are also emerging regarding his general attitude and motivation.

The Magpies are very keen on Thuram

The Interista Learn more about the France International situation that is spiraling out of control.

His partnership with Lautaro Martínez flourished for two seasons. Inter fans had also developed a great admiration for Marcus Thuram, but that has now evaporated this season.

The striker is believed to have ‘lost all motivation’ for the Nerazzurri, having found his attitude poor in big games. He is often seen flailing around in the final third, not putting in enough effort.

His last league goal came on 8 February against Sassuolo, causing Inter to question his future at the club.

The outlet believes €65 million would be enough for the suitors, with Newcastle United ‘particularly interested’ in a summer transfer. There is a belief that the striker’s hefty release clause will not apply, especially if he fails to step up his performances.

That clause is actually only valid until the end of July. This is causing Inter to consider the situation as they look to earn as much as possible from the sale.

Our opinion: Deal could be cheaper than €65m

Inter signed Marcus Thuram on a free transfer, meaning whatever they earn will go as capital gains. Since they failed in the Champions League this season, it is very possible that they consider a major exit.

From a financial point of view, Thuram’s departure would make perfect sense. He could provide Inter with the biggest capital gain, and Newcastle United could potentially sign him for less than €65m.

A lot will depend on how he ends the season but the Italian media are now seriously questioning the player. This has never happened before and it looks like this is the beginning of the end for Thuram at San Siro.

Angelo Stiller: Manchester United’s bid for Bundesliga star revealed

angelo stiller
Cologne, Germany – September 28, 2025: Angelo Stiller – Football match of the Bundesliga 1.FC Köln vs. VfB Stuttgart at the Rhine Energy Stadium.

Luke Littler’s dream of signing Angelo Stiller for Manchester United could be a pipe dream if BILD is to be believed.

The German newspaper reported on the 24-year-old VfB Stuttgart midfielder today. And it looks like Littler’s dream of seeing him at Old Trafford will not be fulfilled.

The darts champion went viral this week when he was asked at the Darts Premier League in Berlin who his favorite German footballer was. His answer was Stiller. He then added a transfer request to Stuttgart Star.

“Come United! Please, come to us! We need help. Casemiro is leaving us,” He said. Interestingly, Stiller saw the clip and liked it.

Manchester United attempt in 2025

According to BILD, there’s something in the request, too. They report that the Red Devils made contact with Angelo Stiller last summer in the hope of signing him in the final stages of the transfer window.

But Manchester United were rejected. The Stuttgart midfielder did not want to leave the cup winners. His main goal at that time was to remain a key player and make it to the World Cup.

He is not working at the moment. Although he is a key player at Stuttgart, the question is whether he will make it into the Germany team. Hopefully he will be able to take advantage of his opportunity during this international break.

Playing on the big stage will also give him a chance to showcase his skills at the top clubs in the world.

Manchester United’s interest calmed down

This is necessary because BILD also reported that no club has recently expressed concrete interest in Angelo Stiller to VfB.

This includes Manchester United’s need for a new midfielder and despite their efforts last summer. However, a report in November said they remained keen.

Whether Littler’s efforts this week change that remains to be seen. For now, it appears that Stiller needs to do something impressive this international break to garner further interest.

A few more comments from the darts sensation may help his cause.

Newcastle United’s squad of players ‘has been working for months’ on a transfer – Transfers within the Premier League

Sandro Tonali

There has been constant speculation over the future of Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali since joining the club.. A summer exit now looks certain for the midfielder.

The Italian media have repeatedly found reasons to talk about the ex-AC Milan player. Juventus have been mentioned as a suitor but Tonali’s agent Giuseppe Risso has hinted at a possible stay in the Premier League.

sports witness His comments were covered, as the Italian suggested the player was interested in a move to clubs such as Arsenal or Manchester City.

Now, it seems that active efforts are underway to secure Tonali’s departure to Newcastle United.

Group of players listening to offers

gazzetta dello sport Carlo Laudisa now reports on Sandro Tonali, claiming his price has skyrocketed. This will make it very difficult for Juventus to bring him back to Italy.

The journalist, who is very experienced, also says that the 25-year-old’s crew ‘has been working for months’. He wants to plan a transfer away from Newcastle United. The plan is to receive the best offer from the Premier League, which is where they are focusing their efforts.

It is hinted that magpies may not make it easy for potential suitors. They are unwilling to part with the player, which suggests the Tyneside club will place a high price on the Italy international.

This could be good news for Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. The UK press has mentioned all three as possible lovers. tuttosport Risso’s appearance at the Gunners’ game against Brighton earlier this month was talked about.

Newcastle United should settle for nothing less

Since leaving AC Milan, Sandro Tonali’s stature has only grown. Even the betting ban has not halted his progress, with the player establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Even for Italy he has established himself as a pillar and will be key in the upcoming World Cup playoffs.

That’s why Newcastle United should not listen to any low offers for the player. Taking everything into account, Tonali is potentially a player worth €100 million. Contenders may have to pay that amount to get a chance to sign it.

Laudisa is a veteran of the Italian press and his information is likely to contain at least some truth. This should be seen as a clear message that the people around Tonali are fully accepting of the idea of a transfer and Magpies supporters should start making peace with the idea.

Leeds United’s chance to secure €5 million arrival hinges on the club being relegated

danny namaso
LISBON, PORTUGAL – 08 31 2024: Danny Namasso during the Liga Portugal game between the teams of Sporting CP and FC Porto at the Estadio José Alvalade

Leeds United’s interest in Danny Namasso is entering a more complicated phase, with the situation now in danger of getting out of their hands due to developments in France.

The Whites have been tracking the Porto-owned forward for several months. As we covered in the first seasonHis name came up with clubs in Spain and France. At that time, the feeling was that their positions could be opened at relatively low costs. However, that window may now be closed.

Debt is turning into a permanent move

Namasso joined AJ Auxerre on loan last summer, which seemed like a favorable structure for potential buyers. The deal included a €5m (£4.3m) buyout clause, significantly less than his €80m (£68.5m) release clause at Porto.

This figure was one of the main reasons why Leeds United were cautious. This presented a rare opportunity to sign a 25-year-old forward with top level experience at a modest price. However, since then, his role in France has grown rapidly.

The Cameroon international has established himself as a regular starter. He has played 1,896 minutes in Ligue 1 this season. This accounts for approximately 81% of Auxerre’s total minutes so far.

As a result, he has effectively cleared one of the two conditions required to make the €5m (£4.3m) clause mandatory. The limit on minutes available throughout the campaign was set at 60%.

Even when projecting a full season, he’s already well above that figure.

The fight for survival is important now

The second position is more uncertain and is now at the center of Leeds United’s hopes.

As reported by Portuguese newspaper to ballAuxerre would have to remain in Ligue 1 for the clause to be mandatory. Currently, they are 16th in the table, which will send them to the relegation play-offs.

They are eight points behind safety, making automatic survival difficult. The most realistic route appears to be maintaining that play-off position.

Importantly, those extra matches will also count towards Namasso’s minutes. This will only strengthen its position within the agreement.

If Auxerre remains up, the transfer becomes automatic. In that scenario, Leeds United would no longer have a direct way to negotiate with Porto. If they go down, the positions reopen – but not completely.

Auxerre will still retain the option to sign him for €5m (£4.3m). Yet demotion may reduce their willingness to invest at that level.

Practicing Patience for Leads

The timing of all this is strange for Leeds United. When Namso’s condition appeared to be flexible, he recognized Namso. Now, their continued involvement and Auxerre’s reliance on them is taking this deal to a permanent outcome.

This will force the leads to wait.

Should Auxerre secure survival, the door is effectively closed unless they are willing to negotiate with the French club instead. If demotion occurs, there may be a second chance – but possibly with more competition and less control.

Either way, what once seemed a straightforward deal is now linked to a demotion fight in France.

Leeds United’s bid for Porto player – shows what the Whites are looking for

zaidoo sanusi
zaidoo sanusi

Leeds United tried to sign Porto full-back Zhaidu Sanusi in January, but the defender ultimately turned down the chance to move to the Premier League.

Sanusi has been at Porto since 2020, arriving from Santa Clara in a move worth around €4m (£3.4m). He has since made over 120 appearances for the club in all competitions.

The left-back’s contract still runs until 2027 and remains an experienced option in Porto’s defensive rotation.

As we covered at the timeThere was speculation that the club was close to signing the experienced full-back during the winter market. Sanusi, now 28, offers strong physical attributes and extensive European experience, including appearances in the Champions League and Europa League.

Its confirmation has now come out from Portugal newspaper. game This followed comments from Porto manager Francesco Farioli, who pointed out that the Nigerian had a concrete opportunity to leave during the winter period.

There was also interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Leeds United were among the clubs actively looking for a deal.

The Porto manager’s explanation came while discussing why the defender was not used in recent league matches against Sporting and Benfica. Farioli said the decisions were related to team management and tactical choices rather than any issue with the player.

January move discussed

Speaking about the situation, the Porto coach confirmed that Sanusi had a real chance to leave during the winter window, with Premier League clubs making contact.

“He had a good opportunity to move to the Premier League in January,” Farioli explained.

The manager revealed that he had spoken directly to the defender as his playing time was limited at the start of the season. Despite that situation, Sanusi made it clear that he would prefer to stay and compete for a role.

“I talked to him about what he wanted because he didn’t have a lot of minutes in the first half of the season,” The coach said. “His response was clear. He said he was happy to remain in the team and play a role.”

Patience paid off in Porto

Sanusi’s decision to remain has been gradually rewarded with greater involvement. He featured in league matches against Nacional, Rio Ave and Arauca earlier this year, helping to rebuild momentum after a quiet start to the campaign.

In all competitions this season, he has made double-digit appearances for Porto. Although he is not always a guaranteed starter, he remains a reliable option in Farioli’s team.

The manager has repeatedly praised the defender’s professionalism and attitude, highlighting his commitment even when not starting matches regularly.

“He is making very good progress and is one of the exemplary players,” Farioli said. “Zaidu has incredible commitment to the team and the club. He is loved by the fans. You can hear a different noise when he touches the ball at Dragão.”

What this could mean for Leeds United

For Leeds United, the revelation confirms that the club were solely monitoring Premier League-ready options rather than long-term prospects.

Sanusi’s profile is perfect for that type of move. A physically strong, high-energy full-back with experience in European competitions and a relatively modest market value. According to Transfermarkt, he is currently valued at around €3m (£2.6m). Realistically, it will cost a lot.

Although the January move did not come to fruition, the situation highlights the type of defensive reinforcements Leeds United are searching for. If similar needs arise again in the summer, Sanusi’s name may not be completely out of the discussion.

Newcastle United’s latest Brazilian transfer attempt explained

Newcastle United remains one of the Premier League clubs after AllenBut Palmeiras are now moving to strengthen their position by agreeing a new contract for the midfielder.

Interest from England has surrounded the 21-year-old for several weeks. Newcastle have been repeatedly linked with the player and were Recently it has been reported that an envoy has been sent to Brazil To follow the situation closely.

Liverpool is also mentioned Recent coverage has featured fans, but journalist Andre Hernan has also hinted that Manchester United have joined the group of clubs keeping an eye on Allan.

Against that backdrop, Palmeiras appear to be working to protect their position ahead of the next transfer window.

Palmeiras is preparing another contract renewal

But I am saying ESPN Brazil’s live program Fala a FonteJournalist Bruno Andrade reported that Palmeiras have recently held fresh talks about renewing Allan’s contract.

The midfielder has already had his deal renewed several times in a short period. In 2024 his contract was extended to 2027, and in 2025 the club extended it further to 2029. Now Palmeiras is discussing another upgrade.

According to Andrade, positive progress was made at a meeting last week. And he said the current negotiations could result in a longer contract and better financial terms for the player.

He said: “There were meetings last week and discussions were very positive regarding another renewal. We still need to confirm whether this contract will be extended to 2030 and whether it only includes a salary increase or a higher release clause.”

The journalist also stressed that Palmeiras wanted to reward the player and at the same time protect themselves from increasing interest from abroad.

European interests are driving Palmeiras’ strategy

The renewed talks are taking place in the context of strong European interest, including from Newcastle United. According to the ESPN discussion, Palmeiras has already rejected the offer The price for Allan is estimated to be between €30m and €35m (£25.7m-£30m).

Andrade confirmed that if Palmeiras ultimately decides to sell, the valuation would need to climb well above that range.

He said: “When Palmeiras thinks about selling Allan – which is not in the board’s plans right now – the number being discussed is upwards of €40m.”

Even that price may not come as a single fixed payment. The panel suggested a deal worth around €40m (£34.3m) would include performance bonuses rather than a guarantee fee.

Andrade explained: “According to what people say in the market, €40m would probably be in a structure with just fixed money and bonuses. Something like €30m plus €10m, or €20m plus €20m.”

Why could the next transfer window be decisive?

newcastle united

Journalist Felipe Silva said the contract renewal strategy also serves another purpose: strengthening Palmeiras’ negotiating power ahead of the summer window.

He said: “This kind of renewal helps both parties. The club protects itself from interest and the player becomes more expensive.”

Silva pointed out that raising wages and extending contracts automatically increases the price paid to European clubs.

he adds: “If the player earns

The journalist also suggested that the next transfer window could bring serious offers. He said: “In the middle of the year, there will be heavy clubs coming to try to sign Alan.”

Our View: Palmeiras’ leverage is increasing

Palm trees

Palmeiras’ strategy is becoming increasingly clear. With Newcastle United and other Premier League clubs circling, the Brazilian side are looking to increase Allan’s value ahead of the next transfer window.

Extending the player’s contract gives Palmeiras a strong advantage and ensures that any future negotiations will start with a high valuation.

It also buys the Brazilian club time. They could keep a key player for their playing project and wait to see how far European clubs are willing to go once the next transfer window opens.

Why Garnacho is Struggling Under Erik ten Hag: The Rise and Fall of United’s Star turn

Why Garnacho is Struggling Under Erik ten Hag: The Rise and Fall of United’s Star Turn

For Manchester United fans in India, watching football live on late weekends often brings a mix of adrenaline and frustration. At the heart of this emotional rollercoaster is Alejandro Garnacho. Once hailed as the “Crown Jewel” of the post-Ronaldo era, the Argentine winger currently seems to be a shadow of the player who stunned the world with an overhead kick against Everton last season.

As the pressure mounts on manager Erik ten Hag, the spotlight has turned to why his most explosive talent is failing to fire. Is it tactical rigidity, a dip in confidence, or the weight of expectations?

The Tactical Dilemma: Left vs. Right

One of the primary reasons for Garnacho’s recent struggles is his positioning. Naturally a left-sided winger who loves to cut inside on his right foot, Garnacho has frequently been deployed on the right flank to accommodate Marcus Rashford.

While he showed versatility last season, the current campaign highlights his discomfort. On the right, his crossing remains inconsistent, and he loses the “inside-forward” goal threat that made him a nightmare for defenders. Under Ten Hag’s current system, the lack of an overlapping full-back (due to injuries to Luke Shaw) means Garnacho is often isolated against two defenders.

The “Impact Sub” vs. Starter Debate

Garnacho’s rise was fueled by his electric energy off the bench. Against tired legs, his raw pace was a cheat code. However, as a consistent starter, he is finding it difficult to manage the pace of the full 90 minutes. Opposing managers in the Premier League have now “scouted” him; they show him the touchline and negate his ability to drift into central pockets.

Discipline and the Ten Hag Philosophy

Erik ten Hag is known for his “standards.” We saw this with Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo. Recently, social media activity and visible frustration when substituted have suggested a slight friction between the youngster and the manager. Ten Hag demands defensive tracking and tactical discipline—areas where Garnacho, a flair player, occasionally lapses. When these defensive duties aren’t met, the “Star Turn” often finds himself back on the bench, disrupting his rhythm.

How to Watch Manchester United Live in India

If you are looking to catch football live and track Garnacho’s progress, the Premier League is broadcast in India on the Star Sports Network. For those who prefer digital streaming, Disney+ Hotstar provides every Manchester United match live with high-definition coverage and expert analysis.

Conclusion

Alejandro Garnacho remains one of the brightest talents in world football, but his current slump is a combination of tactical shifts and the natural growing pains of a young player. For Erik ten Hag, the challenge lies in restoring Garnacho’s confidence without sacrificing the team’s defensive balance. Whether Garnacho can reclaim his “Star Turn” status or becomes another “what if” story depends on how he adapts to the rigors of being a marked man in the toughest league in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Why is Garnacho not scoring as many goals this season?

Garnacho is currently dealing with a lack of service from the midfield and is frequently being played out of his natural left-wing position, affecting his clinical finishing.

2. What is the best way to watch Premier League football live in India?

The best way is through Disney+ Hotstar for mobile and smart TV streaming, or Star Sports Select 1 and 2 for television viewers.

3. Is there a rift between Erik ten Hag and Garnacho?

While there have been minor social media controversies, there is no official report of a fallout. However, Ten Hag has been critical of Garnacho’s decision-making in the final third recently.

4. Can Garnacho play as a central striker?

While he has the pace, he lacks the physical strength and hold-up play required for a central role in Ten Hag’s system, making him most effective on the wings.

Leeds United’s exit now looks impossible – hopes fading after initial optimism

In the space of a few weeks, Leeds United loanee Jack Harrison has seen endless ups and downs at Fiorentina.

The attacker joined the Italian side on a loan deal in late January. The transfer was covered extensively sports witnessBecause La Viola secured the option to buy him permanently.

The winger performed well in the first two games and also helped in his second appearance. When he then started, he failed to live up to the hype, drawing criticism from the Italian press, particularly after a 3–0 defeat to Udinese.

The Florence club still find themselves in a relegation battle and things have quickly turned negative for the Leeds United player.

A permanent signature seems unlikely

fiorentinauno The report says that the 29-year-old player’s performance seems to be ‘dropping’. In his first few appearances he showed his ability, intensity and willingness to fit into Paolo Vanoli’s system.

That’s why, as of now, his permanent arrival from Leeds United is unlikely. White is believed to be keeping a close eye on his player, hoping he will turn things around.

If they do not buy, the winger will return to Yorkshire at the end of the season. The next game against Parma could prove crucial for them, with Harrison likely to start the clash. Despite failing to create anything noteworthy while starting in the last three matches, this will be another opportunity.

This is seen as a ‘true test’ by Fiorentina.

Analysis: Not entirely dependent on player

Jack Harrison started well and then dropped out, perhaps a clear indication of the pressure around Fiorentina and the negative impact it was having on the club’s players.

La Viola was not expected to be in this situation. There is anger among fan groups and there is endless criticism of the team.

David De Gea is one of those being targeted. He produced some top form when he joined Fiorentina but has now faded like others. Negativity is fueling poor performance which in itself drags players down further. Fiorentina’s situation is not much different from that of Tottenham Hotspur.

Fitness update on Manchester United’s Patrick Dorgu

patrick dorgue
BILBAO, SPAIN – 05 01 2025: Patrick Dorgu is seen during the UEFA Europa League semi-final game between the teams of Athletic Club and Manchester United FC

Denmark manager Brian Reimer is still hopeful that Manchester United’s Patrik Dorgu will be back for the March international break.

That’s according to the coach himself, speaking to Viaplay about the Manchester United defender. TipsBladet has released its comments.

Dorgu is currently struggling to recover from a serious hamstring injury suffered in late January. Initial reports expected him to be out until mid-April.

Scans on the injury suggested a 10-week layoff, but the recent update suggests a possible setback, or, at the very least, a more cautious approach to his rehabilitation from Manchester United.

Either way, the 21-year-old looks set to miss Denmark’s clash against North Macedonia on March 26.th.

They will face Macedonia in the semi-finals of the World Cup qualification play-off. If they progress, they are scheduled to play in the play-off final on the 31stscheduled tribe march. Due to this they will have to compete with Czechia or Republic of Ireland.

It was believed that both games would be too soon for the Manchester United player. But Reimer isn’t ruling them out just yet.

Positive perspective from Denmark

“Right now, he is reported injured by Manchester United, and that is until April,” Reimer said.

“I know Patrick has a dream of getting ready. I think right now, when he’s running around in that training room, his biggest motivation is he wants to fight everybody and then get ready for that match.

“I’ll just help him keep his dream alive as long as the opportunity exists.”

After being sidelined for two months with a hamstring injury, most would argue that Dorgu is unlikely to be ready. However, with World Cup qualification at stake, nothing can stop the 21-year-old from getting there.

To remain in top form for Denmark, Dorgu will likely have to play for Manchester United first, with a return suggested before the end of next month.

The player himself appears to be convinced that this is possible. He is working in this direction and Reimer believes that this young man is giving his all.

Leeds United’s €30m+ January move was a great idea – now falling out of reach

martin baturina
Rome, Italy 19 January 2026: Martin Baturina of Como 1907 during the Serie A 2025-26 football match between SS Lazio vs Como 1907 at the Olimpico Stadium

In January, sports witness Leeds United’s offer for Como’s Martin Baturina covered.

The Whites offered more than €30 million in bonuses for the attacker, who joined the Italian side in the summer. The bid was rejected by Como, who had beaten off competition from Daniel Farke’s side to acquire him from Dinamo Zagreb a few months earlier.

In January, Como manager Cesc Fàbregas was also asked about Leeds United’s interest in the Croatian. He also rejected the idea, even though Baturina was not playing regularly for the Ligurian team at the time.

Now, things are changing and the winger is gaining hero status at the lakeside club.

Baturina is reaching new levels after Leeds offer

tuttomerkatoweb A closer look at Baturina’s situation after putting in an impressive performance for Como in their Coppa Italia win over Napoli at the weekend.

He scored once, capping off an impressive display of the last few weeks for Fabregas’s team.

He has three goals and three assists in 2026. His best performance came against Lazio, scoring and assisting in Como’s impressive 3–0 win. This all came as Baturina struggled for game time at the start of the campaign.

The belief is that regular minutes are ‘really exploding’ him after a barren run on the pitch.

The outlet says Nico Paz’s back-up role would have been too restrictive for the Croatia international. This was its initial use after the arrival of summer.

Now, he has turned things around by justifying why Leeds United and even Fiorentina tried to sign him.

The player could be out of reach of Leeds United

The way things are going for Baturina, his value is rapidly rising beyond his signing.

He has started each of Como’s last five Serie A games, which again shows that Fabregas trusts him more than ever. Given their recent reputation for developing young players, the winger could soon be out of Leeds United’s reach.

It is also important to take into account Como’s potential European qualification. If they finish inside the European places, Baturina could stay at Giuseppe Sinigaglia for at least the next season.
