Wilson finished the game with one assist and a plus-1 rating in 12:47 of ice time. He has four points with 29 penalty minutes in five matches so far in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Thompson has still only appeared in one game for Canada, serving as backup to Jordan Binnington. In that one game versus Switzerland, the Capitals netminder stopped 24 of 25 shots for the win with a .960 save percentage.
