LA’s injury problem gets worse with Benedict Mathurin news

The LA Clippers have been one of the best teams in the league since mid-December, but have faltered with a few losses of late as injuries have mounted. Kawhi Leonard is currently out with a sprained left ankle and now the franchise will be without its sixth player in Benedict Mathurin.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Clippers announced that Mathurin would miss Wednesday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a right toe injury. Mathurin will not play in any of the three games during this Clippers road trip as he continues to receive treatment for an injured toe.

Mathurin played 34 minutes off the bench in Monday night’s loss against the San Antonio Spurs, and finished with 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals on 5 of 12 shooting.

After the game, reporters in the locker room said that Mathurin was seen walking a little strangely.

In addition to Mathurin’s three-game absence, the Clippers have listed both Kawhi Leonard and Darius Garland as questionable for Wednesday night’s game against the Pelicans, the first game of a back-to-back set in New Orleans for the Clippers.

This stretch would culminate in a second five-seven of the month for the Clippers, who also played one game to start March.

After climbing from a 6-21 start to the regular season to 34-32, the Clippers have now lost two straight games and must find ways to remain in the ever-competitive Western Conference. As of Wednesday morning, the Clippers will be just one game ahead of the eighth-seeded Golden State Warriors and just 1.5 games ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Clippers currently lead their season series against the Warriors 2–1 with one game remaining, while they lead their season series against the Trail Blazers 2–0 with two more games remaining. In fact, the final two games of the season for the Clippers are against the Blazers on April 10 and against the Warriors on April 12.

Since arriving in a trade from the Indiana Pacers in early February, Benedict Mathurin has been a star in his role as the sixth man for the Clippers. In his 16 appearances with his new team so far, Mathurin has averaged 19.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game for the Clippers, while shooting 43.3 percent from the floor.

QPR player’s ‘verbal outburst’ at teammate makes situation go from bad to worse

Zane Sellar’s loan from QPR to Fortuna Düsseldorf is turning into a farce.

The Championship club sent the 26-year-old to Germany last summer with the hope of turning it into a permanent deal.

Ahead of the winter market, Fortuna Düsseldorf explored the possibility of sending the 26-year-old return to qprDecided the player was not for them.

That approach was rejected, with the London club hoping to improve the debt.

Unfortunately, the opposite has happened. During the season, Sailor has played nearly 400 minutes in 15 games. This resulted in zero goal contribution.

Now he is facing problems in training also.

QPR player got into a fight with teammates

Fortuna Düsseldorf had a training match on Monday, and the QPR player was not looking in a good mood. His performance was well below the expected standard, although it appears his attitude was the greater cause for concern.

The German newspaper Rhinesche Post states: ‘QPR Looney played a poor pass, didn’t hold the ball and had a selfish shot on goal, but most of his shots went wide. His behavior in the training match angered his teammates. His team was disappointingly behind, but at least everyone else fought back and tried to limit the damage. The seller showed little interest in it. He barely defended, remained indifferent and selfish, which clearly frustrated many teammates.’

Vice-captain Tim Oberdorf reprimanded Sailor, resulting in a ‘verbal explosion’ From QPR player.

Manager sends public message

Manager Marcus Beginning told the newspaper: “It’s a difficult situation for Zain. He came here to play a lot. He’s doing less of that now. He hasn’t used the playing time given to him in a way that deserves the spotlight. My job is to show him a mirror and make it clear that he’s not doing himself any favors. Emotions have to go somewhere. That’s OK. He just shouldn’t hurt the team.”

There have also been talks about internal action, however, no decision has been taken yet. What this will look like is unclear, although there are clearly concerns his attitude will cause widespread damage.

Added Start: “If that had happened, we would have had to intervene. That hasn’t happened so far. It’s OK that players sometimes discuss amongst themselves. I come from a time when things were very different. I’m happy that they exchange ideas and someone actually speaks.

“Maybe the player doesn’t even know what he’s doing at the time. I’m happy to see things coming from within the team and that helps them sort things out on their own. If it starts going in the wrong direction, I have to intervene.”

Not exactly what QPR were hoping for.

Multiple Moses Moody injuries make collapse vs. Clippers worse

On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors’ losing streak continued with a blowout loss at home to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors controlled the game for most of the season, but fell behind in the fourth quarter, trailing by 15 in the final frame and losing the game 114–101.

Now, things have gone from bad to worse with some tough news on the injury front regarding shooting guard Moses Moody.

Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area, formerly of the Ax, reported on Twitter, “According to Steve Kerr, Moses Moody jammed his right wrist and hurt his shoulder.” “The Warriors will know more about his condition tomorrow.”

It’s a tough break for a Warriors team that was already weakened from an injury perspective, with Stephen Curry out for most of the last month with a knee injury, and Jimmy Butler already out for the year with a torn ACL.

Moody is enjoying a good season for the Warriors, hovering around 40 percent from beyond the arc throughout the campaign, and he’ll certainly be hoping these injuries aren’t too serious.

Currently, the Warriors are 31-30 on the season, and if the regular season ended today, they would be in the Western Conference play-in tournament for the third consecutive year.

Making matters more frustrating for Golden State is that recent trade acquisition Kristaps Porzingis, whom the team brought in from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, has played just one game for the team as he battled an illness.

Kuminga, meanwhile, has had a great start to his tenure in Atlanta.

In any case, the Warriors next face off on Thursday evening when they hit the road to take on the Houston Rockets.

QPR loan is falling to pieces – manager change has made things worse

Zane Sellar has not performed well since his swap from FC Lugano for QPR in July 2024.

The striker scored two goals in 1,210 minutes in 22 appearances in his first season at QPR.

Last summer, the Championship club allowed the 26-year-old to move on a season-long loan to Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Thursday edition of rhenish post It is said that there was excitement about the arrival of the seller in August 2025, but that ‘Never lived up to expectations’

Compared to last season, QPR’s player ownership situation has gone from bad to worse. He has played 330 minutes in 13 matches and has failed to score or contribute an assist this season.

Last month, Sports Witness Covered claims from Germany Fortuna Düsseldorf have approached Julian Steffen’s side in a bid to ease his loan move in the winter market. However, QPR rejected his request, with the hope of improving his valuation in the second half of the season.

Why might QPR’s decision backfire?

The London club’s decision not to accept the second division club’s request did not go down well.

To put it into context, the Slovenia international has played 15 minutes in three matches this calendar year.

Rhenish Post claims QPR have the man ‘Definitely out of the picture’.

Fortuna Düsseldorf started the season with Daniel Thioune as their manager and replaced him with Markus Anfang in October.

Sellars has made three starts so far and all under Thioune in the first three matches of this season.

Since Anfang took over, he has played 134 minutes in nine matches, 25 of which have been since December.

Why can’t sellers get minutes?

The Slovenian is not getting regular minutes as Cedric Itten is first choice for Anfang. He has contributed 10 goals and two assists, making it difficult for Sellers to start matches.

Furthermore, the QPR striker hardly showed anything even when given a few minutes.

The newspaper says: ‘Selar has had little impact under Anfang’s management, which is why he is now sidelined altogether or, if he plays at all, is only brought on for the last few minutes.’

The player will return to QPR after this season and will have to decide his future in the summer.
