Fluminense's John Kennedy has been a regular goalscorer for the last few months and now he could be on the verge of extinction wolves Or watford.
The 24-year-old has found the net nine times in the 2026 edition of the Brazilian top-flight. He also performed well in the Mexican First Division in the 2024/25 campaign, scoring two goals in the Libertadores.
Although this did not lead to his inclusion in the Brazil national team, he has previously played six times for the U23s.
Now, transfer talk is heating up around the striker. Wolves and Watford could be possible destinations.
Udinese's key to the race
veneto messenger Cover Udinese's interest in the 24-year-old. Since Kennedy can play in multiple positions in attack, Italian clubs see him as a versatile option to improve their forward line.
Their task is unlikely to be easy. Wolves have the same interest as Udinese, with Shakhtar Donetsk also very much in the running.
Fluminense's €10 million valuation is seen as 'huge' by Udinese. This will require considerable effort, which will only be done if Nicolo Zaniolo leaves in the summer.
There is also a possibility that Kennedy may not be interested in playing in Italy. If that happens, the Pozo family could offer Watford the chance to sign him. This will be only a loan deal. The Brazilian could return to Udinese as an improved player who can be sold.
The Friulian side's relationship with their agents at Bertolucci Sports could be crucial. Over the past two seasons he dealt with another of his clients, Brenner.
Our Opinion: Wolves likely to gain advantage
Due to finances, Rob Edwards' side are probably the front-runners. Udinese are reluctant to part ways with Zaniolo, which would make another key attacking signing difficult.
Since the departure of Jørgen Strand Larsson, Wolves do not have a striker who can score consistently. Kennedy could solve that problem, start in the Championship, get used to playing in England and help them get back into the Premier League.
