ESPN Brazilian journalist Felipe Silva It was reported that Brito will oversee Crystal Palace's scouting operations in the United States, Central America and South America.
According to Silva, the Brazilian will not arrive alone. He is expected to bring in two experienced scouts from Brazilian football to work with him at Selhurst Park.
Speaking on ESPN, Silva explained:
"Brito is joining Crystal Palace. He will sign his contract this week and will become the English club's lead scout for the Americas, covering football in the United States, Central America and South America.
"He will also bring with him two professionals from Brazilian clubs to become Crystal Palace staff. They are Rodrigo Carvalho and Fernando Ziskind, who currently work at Santos. They will become part of Alessandro Brito's team."

One thing highlighted in Brazil is that Brito will not be taking members of Botafogo's scouting department with him.
This would avoid an awkward situation given his long tenure at the Brazilian club and his close relationships there.
Instead, Crystal Palace are expected to build a new scouting structure around Brito using staff from elsewhere in Brazilian football.

Ziskind arrives with a solid background in Brazilian scouting and performance analysis. Santos announced his appointment in 2024 to strengthen its market analysis department.
He was involved in the creation of the club's information centre, which helped structure their recruitment and player-monitoring work.
Carvalho also brings significant experience in Brazilian talent identification. He previously headed Santos' youth recruitment department. Early in his career, he worked as a technical supervisor for Athletico Paranaense and the Brazilian national team.
His work at Santos focused on restructuring the academy scouting and improving the club's process for identifying youth players, before he later moved to the head scout role at Vitória.
With this new structure, the Palace now appears to have given some responsibility to Alessandro Brito from the beginning. He would have the freedom to oversee scouting across America and assemble his own team.
