Aston Villa Turkish side Galatasaray have imposed a €65m asking price on Amadou Onana as an early warning.

Aston Villa wants €65m
Aware of the interest in the 24-year-old, Aston Villa have moved quickly to establish their move. They want at least €65m if the Belgium international is to leave this summer. Due to this, the board of Galatasaray has come on 'backtrack'.
The Turkish outlet reports that Galatasaray are interested in agent George Gardi. He is expected to take a more active role in his business this summer.
He has recommended Amadou Onana to the club. Their board immediately discussed the matter with head coach Okan Buruk. He was positive about the idea and hence, Galatasaray started exploring the possibility of a transfer.
They contacted Aston Villa and were given an asking price of €65m as a response. It is now unclear whether Galatasaray will move on from this point due to this. Onana is still at the World Cup with Belgium, any deal would be delayed anyway.

However, the Turkish side may have to trouble their manager over this. He is a big fan of the midfielder and wants to see him sign. But there is a difference of at least €20m in what they are willing to pay. 'Significant development' would only occur if Onana was made available to Onana for €40-45 million.
However, this is unlikely to happen. Aston Villa paid €60m to sign Onana from Everton in 2024, so they will certainly want at least that price back. And with the midfielder tied down to a deal until 2029, the Villans have no reason to lower their demands.
This means it seems unlikely to happen unless there is a significant effort from Galatasaray or a major reduction in Aston Villa's demands.
