Bazoumana Toure is ready to join newcastle united After reaching an agreement with Hoffenheim this week for a record-breaking deal.
Bild Frankfurt Report The 20-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical this week before finalizing his big move to St James' Park.
Newcastle pay €50m
According to the newspaper, the Ivorian has already reached a full agreement with Newcastle to join him this season. Hoffenheim have also reached an agreement with Newcastle.
This would net him around €50m as a fixed sum, plus up to €2m in bonuses. This is a new club record for the German team.
They were initially reluctant to see Bazoumana Touré leave this summer after playing a key role in their successful campaign last season. The youngster was a key player as they achieved Europa League football the following season.
The hope was to retain him, but Newcastle have put money on the table which cannot be refused. The German side will be pleased, at least 'from a financial point of view'.
Their previous club record sale was Joelinton's €43.5m transfer to Newcastle in 2020. He will now be replaced by the winger, transferring to the same club.

According to BILD, Toure is set for a medical in the North East this week. If all goes according to plan, Newcastle could even announce the deal before the week is out.
The Magpies have moved quickly to ensure they land the 20-year-old this summer. Borussia Dortmund had also shown interest in Bazoumana Touré. Liverpool were also potential contendersHe has been named that way in reports in Germany for months.
This comes after his impressive debut campaign in the Bundesliga last season. He scored five goals in 30 games for the German club, while also registering 12 assists.
Now he is set for a move to the Premier League, and Hoffenheim are making a quick but huge profit on a player who joined at the beginning of last year for just €10m.
