The Italian journalist reports that the Rossoneri are close to signing Aurelien Guernier from Birmingham. Strasbourg is also interested, but Milan are ahead of them.
He points out that Milan are continuing to make moves in the transfer market despite being in a transition period related to the choice of a new sporting director. They are in talks with many players for the present and future.
Guernier is one of them. Contact is already underway for a deal which would involve a process between the first team and their Milan futuro team. The Italian giants want to focus on youth development and Guernier falls into that category.
Milan are close to finalizing contracts with the English talent. Chelsea and Strasbourg are also interested in the player, working together as they usually do, but Milan are ahead of them at the moment.
Perhaps Chelsea's idea would be to sign and then loan him out to Strasbourg.
Training remuneration to be paid
Any deal for the 18-year-old will be based on the value of his training compensation. There is no mention of that figure at this time.
