This is the opinion of journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, Who have today reported on possible goals for the Magpies as Tonali heads to Tottenham Hotspur.

According to their information, Tonali flew to London today for a medical with Tottenham ahead of his €100m signing. Move over Roberto De Zerbi. It is expected that after the deal is struck this week, the deal will be completed in the coming days.
Once that is accomplished, Newcastle will need to turn their attention to finding suitable replacements in their midfield. This will be no easy task given the role Tonali has played at St James' Park since leaving AC Milan.
The question is whether they themselves decide to buy in England. Or will they look at European options, as they did when initially signing Tonali?

Niccolo Ceccarini believes Serie A could once again be an option for him.
"The news was already in the air for some time, today the player (Tonali) went to London for a medical visit," he said in a video on Tuttomercatoweb.
"But the question is second, what will Newcastle do now? Will they decide to invest as they did with Tonali by fishing them out of the Italian Championship? Or will they look for a profile in the same Premier League or elsewhere?"
He then named two potential targets who could be ideal for Newcastle to help fill the hole left by Tonali.
“Well, I think we have to pay close attention to what might happen in Italy,” he said.
“For example, a profile like David Fratesi could be of interest because he has the right characteristics to play in the Premier League.
"But also pay attention to Nicolo Fagioli. For a very high figure, Fiorentina could sell him."
