Friday edition of provinceThe Spanish club's local newspaper has given a report only in favor of Martin O'Neill. Their headline reads, 'Celtic are in talks with UD Las Palmas to sign the 27-year-old.'

On Monday, Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez expressed his disappointment that several clubs have held talks with the player without contacting the club. This is not the case for Celtic as they are in talks with the Segunda Division side.

The newspaper says: 'Still, we will have to wait and see how things develop, and the summer is long, but it looks like the Scottish club have made moves to finalize the deal.'

He made no mention of any other clubs and claimed that Martin O'Neill's team was the favourite. 'Celtic's offer is closer to €4m', says Zarauchas, indicating they have submitted a bid.
Dinko Horkaš, for his part, is looking for a new adventure this summer. This should please Celtic, who now have to reach an agreement with both the player and UD Las Palmas.
