Tottenham HotspurLucas Bergvall has had to fight for a leading role since Roberto De Zerbi took charge of the Premier League side in March.
The Sweden international did not start a match under De Zerbi last season.
His situation at Tottenham is unlikely to improve following the signing of Mateus Fernandes and the imminent arrival of Sandro Tonali.
Last month, the UK claimed the midfielder had informed Spurs of his desire to leave this summer.
After Sweden's exit from the World Cup the 20 year old said He is unsure about his future, but insisted he wants regular playing time.
Tottenham player urged not to change style

The 33-year-old talked about several national team players including Lucas Bergvall.
Thurn has heard that Roberto De Zerbi doesn't like certain aspects of the Tottenham Hotspur player's game. He urged his compatriot to maintain his style and leave Spurs if necessary.
"Incredible player. The pace and willingness to always move forward on the pitch makes me happy. Always try to be fair." He said.
"Heard that De Zerbi doesn't like players who take too many touches on the ball... The stupidest thing I've ever heard! Did the Tottenham coach leave Messi out of the eleven for "his" system? For God's sake, don't change your playing style, Lucas! Because it's cruel. Instead change teams if it becomes a 'problem'."
Doubts about Dejan Kulusevski
Another Tottenham Hotspur player, Dejan Kulusevski, has not played for his club or Sweden since undergoing surgery in May 2025.
He was disappointed to miss out on Graham Potter's World Cup squad due to injury. It is still unclear when the 26-year-old player will return to the field.
On the attacking midfielder, Simon Thurn explained: "I would play Dejan centrally. Incredible at covering and keeping the ball, dangerous going forward. Looks like a perfect midfield trio!
"If Kulusevski returns to football... I am beginning to doubt it after seeing pictures of his actions. Otherwise, Ayari is an ideal complement who maintains a high level in the same role."
