Roman Reigns’ path after WrestleMania 42 is starting to take shape.

According to new information from BodySlam, both Gunther and Oba Femi are expected to be a part of Reigns’ upcoming feud as WWE plans the next phase of their top-tier rivalry following the event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Gunther’s direction holds special significance given the additional sourcing behind it. Dave Meltzer confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that a program between Reigns and Gunther has been discussed internally as a major direction for the company moving forward, aligning with BodySlam’s reporting and suggesting that the idea has real traction behind the scenes rather than being early-stage speculation.

Gunther comes off the back of facing Seth Rollins on Night One at WrestleMania 42, and an event with Reigns would represent one of the most high-profile matchups WWE could do, given the star power of both sides. The two haven’t feuded in a long time, and with Reigns continuing to work at the top of the card, Gunther’s situation makes him the logical next target.

Meanwhile, Oba Femi has been one of WWE’s most aggressively rising stars over the past year. The 2026 NFL Draft is fast approaching with the start of the first round on April 23, and San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch is busy taking trade calls. This is nothing new, as Lynch is often negotiating deals, whether it’s a new contract for Trent Williams, examining trade costs for other playmakers, or evaluating if he should trade one of his own contracts.

As the 49ers are preparing for the draft, Lynch took time to address local media, where he asked various questions related to the draft and the players who have been the subject of trade rumors throughout the off-season.

When it comes to former second-team All-Pro receiver Brandon Aiyuk, Lynch admitted he doesn’t think there’s a “high chance” he’ll be traded this week. However he acknowledged there is still a chance the team will trade Aiyuk, depending on what teams are willing to offer.

Lynch also said that the 49ers have had trade discussions with specific teams about a potential trade, but of course, he did not say which teams have registered interest. The Washington Commanders are the team most linked to Aiyuk, and their connection with Aiyuk’s college QB at Arizona State, Jayden Daniels, could help a deal.

For now, Aiyuk is set to enter the second season of a four-year, $120 million contract, where he has a $16.6 million cap hit for 2026. Some believe this is too rich for a player who did not play a single snap last season. Yet others, including the 49ers, think Aiyuk can still be a highly productive player if he can stay healthy.

It is impossible to ignore the fact that all three of their goals came on the powerplay, a situation that will be very difficult to replicate going forward.

The Lightning have an excellent penalty kill, shutting down 82.6% of their opponents’ man advantages during the regular season, third best in the NHL.

With this in mind, it is important to evaluate how teams performed at 5v5 to better understand how the series will progress. While special teams will play a significant role in some games, hockey is mostly played at even strength.

In that vein, the Lightning controlled 54.8% of shots (34-28) on Sunday night, which isn’t particularly surprising as they do a better job of controlling shots than the Canadiens, however, when we filter the results further, it becomes clear that the Habs were far better on high-danger shots.

The Canadiens held an 8-1 advantage in high-danger shots at 5v5, a flat-out dominant share of one of the most important statistical categories in hockey.

As we all know, not all shots are created equal. While a team that outshoots its opponents generally has a better chance of winning, that advantage diminishes when the opponent does a better job of creating high-quality shooting opportunities.

The Canadiens took many of their shots from the slot, while the Lightning were largely kept to the perimeter.

To put a nice point on his excellence in high-danger opportunities, Slafkowski made three times more high-quality shots than the entire Lightning lineup.

In an ideal world, you want your team to control both the quantity and quality of shots. However, in a short series, just focusing on quality could be enough to ensure four wins.

A week after YouTuber Cletus McFarland was denied entry into the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Talladega Superspeedway this upcoming weekend, he has now revealed when he will next get the chance to drive an O’Reilly car for Richard Childress Racing.

McFarland announced on Instagram Monday afternoon that he will drive the No. 33 car for RCR in the Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 at Nashville Superspeedway on May 30.

“Look guys, your boy is going back to O’Reilly Racing. On May 30, I’ll be in the No. 33.”

McFarland, age 31, made his O’Reilly Auto Parts Series debut on April 4 in the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham Speedway.
