According to the newspaper, AIK are set to receive a huge sum for Zadok Yohana in the coming weeks.

Sport Witness covered a report yesterday Explaining that Newcastle have made a bid of €24 million for the youngster, while Brighton are also believed to be keen on him. Reports elsewhere have also put Chelsea in the mix for him.

The expectation is that he will move on this summer, and AIK are already planning for life without him. According to Aftonbladet, they have already started considering potential signings.

According to their information, Elias Pihlström is one of the players that AIK has put at the top of the list of potential signings. He has been discussed internally and the club’s sporting management has held several meetings regarding the player. He fits well into their recruitment strategy.

But the fact that AIK is already keeping an eye on him shows that they believe Zadok Yohanna will be moving on before too long. This bodes well for Newcastle and Brighton.

While the Magpies appear to be at the front of the queue at the moment after their €24 million bid, Brighton are unlikely to be out of the picture.

In fact, they hold a huge advantage over Newcastle. They can point to a proven track record of developing young players over the years. Actually, a Swedish youth Yasin Ayari is in their team for the 2026 World Cup.

Ultimately the decision has to be taken by John. Meanwhile, it seems that AIK are already planning for his departure as the Premier League circles.

Newcastle battle Brighton to sign him with €24 million bid – record sale on the cards

newcastle united AIK have entered the race for star Zadok Yohana, with the bid now standing at €24m.

express report Newcastle have stepped up their interest in the 18-year-old and are battling Brighton for his signature.

newcastle rival brighton

Sport Witness covered a report This week it was said that Brighton had made their move for the winger. It is said that he made a ‘monster bid’ for the young player.

Now Newcastle have entered the picture. According to Expressen, the Magpies have made a bid of €24m plus bonuses for Yohana.

Talks are now underway between the clubs over a possible transfer. Sources have confirmed to Express that Brighton are also still in the picture. They are competing heavily with Newcastle for the winger.

French side Rennes are also in the picture, as well as an unnamed Premier League club. How the situation evolves from there remains to be seen. But AIK now have ‘two monstrous bids’ on the table and a decision to make.

At the current price offered, Johanna would break the existing Allsvenskan sales record. Lucas Bergvall currently holds that record after a €20m move to Tottenham in 2024.

breakout season

The interest from Brighton and Newcastle comes after Zadok Yohana enjoyed a 2026 season that has been nothing short of spectacular. He has transformed from a promising prospect into the focal point of AIK’s attack.

March was seen as his real big moment, with two goals in a 4–0 win against BK Håkan followed by another important goal against GAIS in the quarter-finals of the Svenska Cupen.

He made his Allsvenskan debut in April with a sensational solo winning goal in a win over Halmstads BK. He is currently on a five-goal involvement in seven league games, which is another demonstration of his impressive talent.

Now Brighton and Newcastle are battling for his signature, set for a record sale in the Swedish top flight.

Celtic and Rangers shift battle for midfielder – front page story

celtic and Danny Rohl’s Rangers are expected to reshape parts of their midfield this summer, especially with European football again increasing the physical demands on their squads.

Recruitment from Scandinavia has also become a familiar route for Celtic and Rangers in recent years. This helps explain why Silas Anderson is now on their radar.

The 21-year-old BK Hacken midfielder has quietly become one of the most reliable performers in the Danish league over the past season. His combination of defensive intensity, ball-carrying and composure in possession is now attracting the interest of many countries.

According to Portuguese outlet recordBoth Celtic and Rangers are monitoring Anderson closely as Sporting moves forward with attempts to sign the midfielder.

The Portuguese newspaper reports that Sporting has already made preliminary contact with Hacken regarding a possible transfer. Hamburg and FC Köln are also interested, with Köln’s bid of €4m (£3.4m) already rejected.

Hacken is reportedly targeting around €7m (£5.9m) plus bonuses.

Why is Anderson attracting interest from Celtic and Rangers?

Celtic and Rangers involved in big record story
Celtic and Rangers involved in big record story

Silas Andersen has been one of the most consistent midfielders in the Danish league since last season. Although his physical profile is immediately imposing at 1.90 metres, he is much more technical than many might expect.

The Denmark U21 international is comfortable carrying the ball through the midfield and regularly beats opponents off the dribble. His control in tight spaces is another strong point, especially for a player of his frame.

Still, it’s defensively where Anderson makes the biggest impact. FootyStats data shows that he wins an average of about nine duels per game and completes about 2.4 tackles per match.

There is also offensive contribution in his game. Anderson leads the way with goals and assists, and Hacken believes there is still significant room for development.

The record state Sporting sees him as a medium-term project rather than a direct Replacement for Morten Hjulmand.

It could also be a good fit for Celtic and Rangers, who have shown a willingness to recruit young Scandinavian talents with resell potential in recent years.

what happens next

Silas Anderson’s situation is now likely to develop rapidly. Haken is aware that a number of clubs are circling, and the rejected Koln offer has already helped set a tough asking price.

For Celtic and Rangers, the attraction is obvious. Anderson combines physicality, defensive reliability and technical quality, while still being young enough to develop further.

A fee of around €7m (£5.9m) would still represent a large investment in Scottish football terms. However, growing Bundesliga and Portuguese interest could push both Glasgow clubs to make a decision sooner rather than later.

Early leader emerges in Cleveland Browns starting QB battle

The Cleveland Browns have one of the most intriguing quarterback rooms in the NFL at the moment, making for an interesting position battle that will last all summer. While NFL training camp is still a few months away, it appears the Browns have an early leader in the quarterback competition.

during an appearance on sports center This weekend, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler reported that Deshaun Watson has “hit it out” with Browns head coach Todd Monken and some around the league believe he could win the starting job.

“He’s already been a factor on the practice field. I’m told he’s worked with Todd Monken, who has an offensive concept, some elements that Watson has run in the past and has gotten the best of them…Talking to people around the league, he believes Watson can ultimately earn this job.”

Jeremy Fowler on Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns QB competition

Watson, who turns 31 in September, last played in the regular season on Oct. 20, 2024. He has recovered from two Achilles tears and it appears his NFL career is in danger of being over by 2025.

This set the stage for Shadure Sanders, who was viewed as the early favorite to be named the Browns’ starting quarterback in 2026. Although he did not play well in his rookie season, posting an 18.9 ESPN QBR with a 7-10 TD-INT line, there was optimism he would improve with a revamped supporting cast in Cleveland.

However, Fowler’s reporting supports what Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot has said in recent weeks. In late April, she wrote for Cleveland.com that Watson had the “inside track” to winning the contest.

Regardless of who is named the Browns’ starting quarterback for Week 1, we’ll likely see both Watson and Sanders on the field in 2026. Given how both of them have performed in Cleveland, there’s also a real possibility that Dillon Gabriel will get some opportunities this fall.

Manchester United and Manchester City considering €100m transfer battle

Manchester United And Manchester City are considering a €100m bid for Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali this summer.

Corriere Della Sera reports today on the 26-year-oldRevealing that Financial Fair Play rules would force Newcastle to ‘sell their family jewel’ this summer.

Newcastle is listening to offers

According to the newspaper, Newcastle are ready to consider offers for the Italian midfielder as they look to balance the books. The failure to qualify for the Champions League or any format in Europe has forced the sale of Eddie Howe’s side this summer.

After paying €59m to AC Milan, they are expecting an offer of €100m for the Italy international. This is a figure that would put him out of the market for Italian clubs. As his salary is around €10m per year.

Instead, Manchester City and Manchester United According to the newspaper are the ‘most likely destinations’. It remains to be seen whether any of them will pay the €100 million.

Manchester United and Manchester City are looking for a midfielder

Both intend to change their midfield options this summer. Specifically, Manchester United needs at least one player in central midfield to replace the departing Casemiro.

But the perception is that they could target two or three in this role, with the likes of Manuel Ugarte also expected to step up.

Manchester City They have less needs than their city rivals. They already have Rodri, Nico Gonzalez, Tijjani Rejenders, Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva who can play in central roles.

However, Silva is leaving at the end of his contract and Kovacic is also likely to leave. It also remains to be seen what happens with Rodri. After all he has long been linked with a possible move to Real Madrid.

Either way, the feeling in Italy is that Manchester City and Manchester United are set to do battle over the Newcastle star. And he will find no Italian competition at his asking price of €100 million.

Newcastle meeting spurs Liverpool into action – €50m battle between the Reds and Magpies

liverpool Monaco are set to battle Newcastle United for midfielder Lamine Camara this summer.

foot market report Newcastle have already made a move for the 22-year-old, and Liverpool will respond.

Newcastle Book a meeting

The website reports that after another excellent season with Monaco, Lamine Camara is set to become a key player in the summer transfer window.

newcastle Have stepped up their efforts for him and believe Liverpool can soon follow suit. Monaco currently value the Senegal international at around €50m.

He has been one of the standout performers in the Monegasque team this season, shining and managing four goals and one assist in 30 games.

Monaco is expected to be part of a huge summer sale. They are aware that the midfielder enjoys ‘huge popularity’ across the continent. The Ligue 1 side are set for a ‘real tidal wave of interest’ especially from the Premier League.

Several English clubs have already made inquiries regarding the player’s status. According to FM information, Newcastle have already decided to accelerate their search. They look to step up to the game following the departures of Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimarães.

Liverpool ‘very keen’

Lamine Camara is his top priority. They are now ready to move forward and things have moved forward in recent times. Newcastle management has held a meeting with representatives of the players.

But he is not alone in the race. According to FM sources, Liverpool is also ‘very keen’ on this deal. Liverpool have now become aware of a meeting between Camara’s representatives and Newcastle.

And now that’s putting pressure on the Reds to step up their efforts to avoid being tricked. The asking price will be around €50m. This figure is seen as ‘far from unattainable’ for Newcastle or Liverpool.

Monaco, meanwhile, will make a profit of €35m on a player who will cost them €15m in the summer of 2024. Now the Premier League appears to be his next destination.

Chelsea approached to sign Diomande – Blues and Bayern ready for PSG battle

chelsea Now part of the growing European battle for Ousmane Diomande, the market for the sporting defender has been on the rise in recent weeks.

Earlier this spring, Crystal Palace were the Premier League club most linked with the 22-year-old player. Palace explore a move worth around €50m (£43m)But Sporting considered the valuation too low and the deal never proceeded.

Since then, the landscape around Diomande has changed significantly.

According to Portuguese transfer insider Flavio CostaSporting has now received approaches from Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

The same report claims Sporting are now only expected to consider a sale for around €60m (£52m), which shows how steeply the defender’s valuation has risen.

Chelsea’s interest is understandable

Chelsea are not being presented as favorites for the defender at this stage. PSG and Bayern Munich are also firmly in the picture.

Nevertheless, Chelsea’s presence in the race is notable given the club’s position. Centre-back issues have repeatedly plagued him this season. Inconsistency, injuries and the lack of a well-organized defensive structure have contributed to difficult moments during the campaign.

As a result, the club is actively looking for high-level defensive additions capable of becoming long-term pillars. Diomande naturally fits that profile.

Standing 190 cm tall, he combines physical strength with mobility and composure. Despite being only 22 years old, he has played over 120 matches for Sporting CP.

Furthermore, he has been on Chelsea’s radar for at least two years now We covered Portuguese reports from 2024 Claiming the centre-back was in his plans. But with a much bigger reputation and European pedigree, Diomande is now a different kind of target.

Preparing for sporting pressure

Sporting renewed Diomande’s contract earlier this year until 2030 and retained his €80m (£69m) release clause.

Nevertheless, the Portuguese club knows that the pressure on the player is increasing rapidly. Diomande is also expected to play for Ivory Coast in the upcoming World Cup, another factor that could increase his value even higher.

A few months ago, crystal Palace It seemed as if the club was pushing most for a defender.

Now the asking price has soared, Europe’s elite are involved, and Chelsea are among the clubs looking to make one of the biggest defensive moves of the summer.

Manchester United and Arsenal battle for midfielder – transfer agreement already in place

Arsenal and Manchester United reported to be in transfer dispute over Morten Hjulmand in Portugal
Arsenal and Manchester United reported to be in transfer dispute over Morten Hjulmand in Portugal

Manchester United And armory Morten are now emerging as the two clubs with the strongest case for Hjulmand.

The Sporting captain’s expected summer departure is looking like a Premier League battle straight out.

In recent weeks, Manchester City He looks to be the frontrunner after reports in Portugal claimed Hugo Viana’s relationship with Hjulmand had given the Premier League champions a significant advantage.

Soon after, Manchester United moved ahead of their rivals.

Now the latest report from Portugal puts both United and Arsenal at the front of the queue, with both clubs seriously pursuing the Danish midfielder ahead of the summer window.

the agreement is months ago

Another interesting tidbit to emerge from Portugal is that Hjulmand was close to leaving Sporting at the beginning of the season.

according to morning mailThe midfielder had the opportunity to move in January, but instead reached an agreement with Sporting’s hierarchy to stay for the remainder of the season and leave this summer.

This helps explain why Sporting has appeared relatively quiet during a time of increasing transfer noise around the player.

Now an agreement is said to have been reached to allow Hjulmand to leave for around €40m (£34m), while his official release clause is €80m (£69m).

So it looks increasingly like a transfer route has been quietly prepared for months.

Arsenal and Manchester United both matter

Manchester United’s involvement is easy to understand. As we detailed earlier, the club are keen to bring more control and stability to the midfield. And as Casemiro’s departure approaches, Morten Hjulmand could be one of the men to do the job.

But Arsenal’s position is also logical. The Gunners are taking a close look at midfield options capable of bringing structure and balance.

Plus, there’s *that* personal aspect. Hjulmand is an Arsenal fan And there’s even a tattoo associated with the club, which has come up again and again Whenever their future is discussed.

However, any discussion will have to wait for at least a week. The midfielder is currently recovering from a foot injury, but is close to a return and could even play against Gil Vicente this weekend.

If that happens, it could turn out to be his final match at Sporting’s Estadio do Alvalade.

Sporting will then face Turin in the Portuguese Cup final, with the game being seen in Portugal as a potential farewell opportunity for the captain ahead of his expected summer transfer.

what happens next

appear sporting prepared for his departure. The player already has an unofficial route to transfer. And the battle looks increasingly centered between Manchester United and Arsenal.

Manchester City hasn’t completely disappeared from the picture, but the pace of the story has clearly shifted elsewhere.

With the season nearing an end and departure talk growing in Portugal, it is no longer really expected whether Hjulmand will leave or not. Once that is done it ends there.

Celtic and Wolves ahead in transfer battle for 23-year-old – player wants the move

celtic And wolves Wolfsburger AC are interested in goalkeeper Nikolaus Polster, with the Austrian side preparing a move.

sky sports austria report WAC are demanding a transfer fee of at least €1.5m for the 23-year-old this summer.

Celtic and Wolves interest

They report that a list of clubs are showing interest in the Wolfsburger AC goalkeeper this summer. German clubs are keen on the 23-year-old, with Celtic and Wolves among the likes.

According to Sky information, the Austrian side will ask for around €1.5m and €2m for the goalkeeper this summer.

Nicholas Polster himself wants this move. He is looking to take the next step in his career and hopes to move abroad this summer.

The goalkeeper came through the youth ranks at SK Rapee and moved to LASK in the 2020 summer transfer window. He also had stints at Vorwärts Steyr and SV Horn before joining Wolfsberger in July 2024.

He has been number one since then, having played a total of 67 matches, conceding 79 goals and keeping 20 clean sheets. This season he has made 33 appearances and conceded 43 goals in all competitions.

goalkeeping changes

Now a move to the United Kingdom could be on the cards, with Celtic and Wolves both showing interest in the goalkeeper.

Celtic are possibly looking for a long-term replacement for Kasper Schmeichel. The Danish goalkeeper has faced criticism this season. Viljami Sinisalo and Ross Doohan are also in his team.

Wolves’ current options are Jose Sa, Sam Johnstone and Daniel Bentley. The latter is currently playing as the other two are injured. But big changes are likely to take place this summer following their return to the Championship.

Saw and Johnstone’s deals expire next summer, while Bentley’s current contract expires in 2028. At least two of them need to be resolved in the coming months. And it appears Niklas Polster is on his list.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United hold ‘exploratory talks’ with agent – transfer battle on the cards

chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur And Manchester United Sporting Clube de Portugal have held exploratory talks with the agents of star Maxi Araújo about a move.

A Bola report said that the 26-year-old’s talent This season of the Champions League has generated a high level of interest.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United call

The newspaper states that Maxi Araújo’s impressive performances in the Champions League this season, where he has shown ‘quality in transition and defensive solidity’, have elevated the winger’s status.

Atlético de Madrid is at the forefront of pursuing him. He has been given ‘priority option’ status for Diego Simeone’s side. But the Spaniards know there is strong interest in him.

chelseaTottenham and Manchester United are keen on the Premier League. Juventus is also in contact. All concerned parties have held ‘exploratory talks’ with the player’s agents.

All interested parties want to secure priority status with Sporting president Frederico Varandas and want to ‘avoid price inflation’. The growing concern is that there will be an auction and it will be ‘frantic’ during the summer.

€80m asking price

Sporting will start the summer by asking to meet the release clause of Maxi Araújo. It is currently set at €80m. Its purpose is to warn interested parties that they will not sell it cheap.

The Portuguese side want to keep the left-back but know interest will be ‘intense’. They are almost accepting that they will have to sell. Whatever the price, they will make a huge profit on a player who will cost them €13.7m in 2024.

Atlético de Madrid are currently the front-runners in the race for his signature. He has a clear desire for Diego Simeone. But there is competition from the Premier League. Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are already in contact with his agents.

Whether any of those three will pay Sporting’s wishes remains to be seen. But talks with his agents in Portugal are being seen as a sign of his increasing interest.

Newcastle face tough battle for signatures – club want renewal to boost €20m asking price

newcastle His association with Gabriel Make continues as the Grêmio teenager’s profile continues to rise across Europe following his increased involvement in the Brazilian club’s first team.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has gradually become part of the senior rotation this season and is starting to attract more attention with each appearance.

Clubs in England, Portugal, Spain and now France are keeping a close eye on the situation as Gremio prepares for another major transfer battle around one of its biggest talents.

Last year, Shakhtar Donetsk offered around €15m (£12.9m) for Make, only for the move to fail after resistance from both the player and Grêmio.

chelsea There was also a strong push at one stage, with reports in the Brazilian earlier mentioning a package that could reach €24m (£20.6m) including bonuses.

That background is helping shape Grêmio’s current strategy.

Gremio took steps to strengthen its position

according to espn brazilThe Brazilian side are now close to agreeing a contract renewal with MEC until September 2031.

Their current deal runs until September 2027, and there was growing concern internally about losing benefits as time went on. The renewal push appears to be designed to avoid exactly the same scenario before the next transfer window opens.

Importantly, this does not mean that Gremio wants to remove him from the market.

Instead, it looks like the club are trying to put themselves in a stronger negotiating position before a serious offer is made.

That also fits with it Recent Comments Grêmio vice-president Antonio Dutra Júnior insisted that no official bid had been made yet, but openly admitted that the club saw Meck as a player capable of generating “huge value” in the future.

It is getting bigger.

Newcastle will remain involved as soon as PSG enters

are newcastle Once again among the mentioned clubs Regarding make

The Magpies are actively monitoring emerging South American talent and have featured prominently in Brazilian reporting about the player. Make fits the type of high-upside signings Newcastle have sought in recent windows.

However, the race is becoming more crowded.

Villarreal, Sevilla, Porto and Shakhtar remain interested, but Paris Saint-Germain are now the latest heavyweight name to enter the picture.

The emergence of PSG is significant because it changes the market dynamics around MAC. Grêmio already valued him at between €15m and €20m (£12.9m-£17.2m), but the increasing level of competition suggests the Brazilian side believe they may be able to move even more than that.

now big sales objective

Rather than rushing towards a sale due to contractual pressure, Grêmio is now focusing on creating a controlled bidding war.

Newcastle, Chelsea and PSG have all been linked at various stages, with the club increasingly viewing Meck as a player capable of generating one of their biggest sales in recent years.

For Newcastle, that means the opportunity is alive – but both prices and competition are moving rapidly upwards.

Arsenal step into developing battle – rising price tag and multiple suitors complicate deal

armory Flamengo are the latest Premier League team to be credited with an interest in midfielder Everton Araujo, but they are entering a situation that has already evolved significantly in recent weeks.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has gone from being a relatively quiet internal option to becoming one of Flamengo’s most valuable assets.

Earlier this year, West Ham United made a preliminary inquiry and internally valued him at around £10.2m (€12m). Newcastle then entered the picture with representatives following their performance.

Furthermore, the Bundesliga club are now believed to be preparing an offer closer to €20m (£17m), while Flamengo are working on a potential contract renewal to strengthen their position.

In other words, the price is rising – and the list of contenders is growing.

Arsenal joins expanding Premier League queue

Arsenal’s emergence adds another layer to a situation that was already developing.

The Gunners have now been named among the clubs to monitor Everton Araujo ball radar. This is a specific outlet that has become quite reliable when it comes to Rio de Janeiro state sides, which is the case of Flamengo.

Although his interest level is not said to be advanced, the midfielder is firmly on the radar of several Premier League teams.

Flamengo are comfortable with this. Internally, the club believes the player still has considerable room for appreciation in the European market. Also, he has also made it clear that any talks will start at a higher price point only.

opportunity to rise

As we covered recently, his rise to Flamengo has been driven by both opportunity and performance, and involves a familiar face at the Gunners. Former Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, who was a regular starter until he was injured, made the starting eleven.

Everton Araújo has taken advantage of this and has consistently performed well, cementing his position in the team.

Even manager Leonardo Jardim praised him, saying so “He is the epitome of a player who is successful in Europe. He has physical ability, he is good in doubles.”

Different levels of interest shape emerging auctions

Arsenal may be the newest name into the picture, but still, they are not alone.

newcastle united Are tracking the player more actively, with internal discussions already taking place regarding a possible move. Constant monitoring of their performance makes their interest appear more concrete.

west ham unitedMeanwhile, were among the first to move forward. They made an initial inquiry at the start of the year, but their £10.2m (€12m) valuation is now looking increasingly out of date. And of course a deal will depend on their Premier League survival.

Beyond England, a Anonymous Bundesliga club The company is understood to be preparing a bid in the region of €20m (£17m). That figure effectively set a new reference point.

Overall, we have clubs at different stages, but the direction is the same. A summer move could materialize rapidly.

What does it mean because flamengo is tenacious

Flamengo are certainly not under pressure to sell.

The club has already rejected lower offers and is now considering a contract renewal to increase security. Furthermore, lower-league side Volta Redonda retain 30% of the player’s economic rights, adding complexity to any potential deal.

With Arsenal now entering the frame, Newcastle monitoring closely, West Ham already positioned and Germany potentially setting the price, auction conditions are emerging.

And for interested clubs, the longer they wait, the more expensive the deal is likely to become.

Battle One More Time, Dobson Gametime Decision

The Montreal Canadiens (3-3) face the Tampa Bay Lightning (3-3) in Game 7 on Sunday, with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

As has been the case throughout the series, the teams faced off in Game 6, with the Lightning emerging victorious 1–0 in overtime. This was the fifth game to require extra time, which shows how difficult the goal was to achieve.

In fact, Montreal’s best forwards Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkowski have yet to score a goal at 5v5 against the Lightning, which is one of the biggest problems facing the Habs in the final game of the series.

Simply put, the Canadiens need their star players to shine in Game 7.

The good news for head coach Martin St-Louis is that he is able to rely on his depth with players like Alex Texier, Kirby Dach and Alex Newhook to provide much-needed secondary and tertiary offense.

It’s also worth noting that veteran Brendan Gallagher has done great things from an underlying numbers standpoint, despite his lack of ice time. While Gallagher was on the ice, the Canadiens controlled over 70 percent of the shots, the best result among all skaters.

Possible Lineup Changes

It remains to be seen whether veteran Noah Dobson will be in uniform for the Canadiens, although his presence would be a significant boon for a team that has had difficulty defending the Lightning from the crowd.

Tampa Bay held a 22–7 advantage in high-danger opportunities during Game 6, erasing much of Montreal’s series lead in the process.

At the very least, with Dobson in the mix, rookie netminder Jacob Dobbs should be exposed to less of a weird man rush.

As of 11:20 a.m. ET, Dobson is considered a game-time decision.

Montreal Canadiens Projected Lineup

Cole Coffield – Nick Suzuki – Juraj Slafkowski

Alexandre Texier – Kirby Dach – Zachary Bolduc

Tottenham’s interest in Arsenal target

Spurs appointed Roberto De Zerbi as their new manager on 31 March, but this would not affect their interest in the rising star.

A source gave this information sports witness Tottenham Hotspur have also kept Maxi Araujo on their agenda after initiating contact.

The north London club are still struggling to sign the Uruguay international despite Portugal’s latest claims that Arsenal have opened talks.

earlier today, we revealed Eight Premier League teams are following the South American.

Tottenham, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. We are not aware of the approach or interest from the Gunners and the other two English clubs.

Araújo’s release clause is €80 million and recent claims state the Lions want €60 million. However, the same sources state sports witness A minimum of €45-50m is needed to secure his services in the summer window.

Our opinion: Tottenham need to stay in the PL

Spurs are now 18th in the table, two points behind 17th-placed West Ham United. Both the teams have four matches left in this season.

Tottenham Hotspur must avoid relegation from the Premier League to have a chance of signing Maxi Araujo in the summer.

Despite remaining in the top flight, Spurs face competition from other English clubs to obtain his signature. With or without Tottenham, there is likely to be a battle for the Sporting star.

According to the newspaper, Arsenal and Mikel Arteta were impressed by Maxi Araujo’s performance against them in the recent Champions League.

His performances caught the attention of Arteta and he identified the 26-year-old as a first-choice target. The Gunners also expect competition so have ‘moved from words to action.’

Initial contacts have already taken place with Araújo and his representatives. At present the talks are nothing more than an ‘exploratory approach’.

Sporting, aware of the growing interest in Araújo and Arsenal’s approach, have been clear about the protection of their asset. He has a release clause set at €80 million, but will negotiate below that. However, they will not go below €60m.

battle of london

Arsenal aren’t the only curious team in the Premier League. Chelsea and Tottenham have recently sent scouts To see the defender in action against Porto.

As did Arsenal’s rivals Atlético Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals. Scouts regularly attend sports games to watch Uruguay play.

In the recent transfer window, both Atalanta and Napoli also made inquiries about Sporting’s number 20. It is believed that Juventus and Milan are also keeping an eye on him.

In such a situation, Arsenal may have to face tough and high-level competition for his signature. It appears they are aware of this and are already taking steps to get ahead of the competition, especially in London.

Whether they will do a deal for €60m is debatable. With Riccardo Calafiori, Piero Hincapie and Miles Lewis-Skelley already at left back, the Gunners do not need to strengthen in that position this summer.

But they are clearly interested in Maxi Araujo, who has, according to records, greatly impressed Mikel Arteta.

‘Interest expressed’ – Swansea City to battle Ligue 1 side for free signing

swansea city Continue to keep Toulouse FC’s Franck Magri on your radar for the summer.

Zane Vipotnik has been leading the Championship side’s attack this season.

The Slovenian striker has performed brilliantly, scoring 24 goals and providing three assists in 47 matches.

His future remains uncertain and earlier this week, Vitor Matos admitted that Vipotnik could leave after this season.

He said: : “Now, obviously, we work within a reality where selling players is always an important factor. You always have to be prepared for the possibility that offers may come that the club considers worth accepting.”

Swansea City maintained interest

Faced with this possibility, Swansea City have already decided to take action and have set their sights on the Toulouse player.

is according to Africa FootWho cover the latest on the Welsh club’s efforts to try to sign him.

Frank Magri was already on his agenda in the winter market, and the Swans had also made an approach. The club also attempted to sign him last summer by offering €4m. It is unclear why the deal did not go through, but they have retained their interest.

Swansea City have identified France-born Cameroon international as a potential successor to Zane Vipotnik.

The Ligue 1 striker’s contract expires in June and he looks to start a new phase of his career next season. This is a market opportunity for Vitor Matos’ side, who have already ‘expressed interest’ in him.

As well as Championship side, Angers SCO are also keen on the frontman. Therefore, Swansea City will have to battle with the Ligue 1 side to secure his signature.

The report made no mention of whether the Welsh club would sign Magri if Vipotnik stayed.

Prices, stats and agent information

Franck Magri has scored five goals and provided one assist in 17 Ligue 1 matches this season.

He has not appeared in any match since January as he had to spend 72 days out of the field due to a knee injury. The frontman appears to have recovered from the blow but was left out of the squad for the last two league matches.

transfer market He is valued at €4m, and agency Team Reag Consulting is managing the Swansea City target.

Is Ilya Topuria now ready to fight the battle he has long resisted?

Ilya Topuria has changed his position on a possible fight with Arman Zarukyan. The lightweight champion had previously stated that he would vacate his belt rather than face the Armenian contender, citing a lack of confidence that Tsarukyan would actually be able to make it to the octagon.

According to Topuria, that stance has now changed ariel helwani show That he is ready to fight whoever is put in front of him on June 14 at UFC White House.

Topuria said, “If they call me tomorrow and tell me Justin is injured and I have to fight Arman, I’ll fight Arman, no problem.” “If they call me and tell me that Armaan is injured and I have to fight Ariel, then I will fight Ariel, no problem. I can go anywhere, anytime, I am ready.”

Ilya Topuria Record: 17-0 (7 knockouts, 8 submissions)

The context behind this change is Tsarukyan’s ongoing campaign to replace Justin Gaethje as Topuria’s opponent on the card. Tsarukyan has publicly advised Gaethje to step back so he can intervene, and has stated his intention to be ready for the June 14 date. A replacement fight seems unlikely in that scenario even if Gaethje pulls out due to Topuria’s past resistance, but his latest comments have removed that hurdle.

The willingness to take the fight doesn’t mean Topuria has developed any new respect for Tsarukyan. During an appearance on the same Helwani show, he made his opinion about the contender very clear.

“He’s a kid. His mentality, he’s stupid,” he said. “Everything I’ve seen about him on the internet is embarrassing. F— Arman, who cares about him? He’s not at my level. If we meet on the road, I’ll break his jaw in the first round.”

With Paddy Pimblett currently out of the lightweight title picture, Topuria vs. Tsarukyan is widely considered the most compelling matchup available in the division. Whether it takes place at the White House or at a future date depends on Gaethje’s health, but Topuria’s updated status means the fight now has a real path to happening sooner rather than later.

Club pair are flying to Manchester City for player talks – battle continues with rivals for signature

Fenerbahçe are ready to get serious in their attempts to sign Bernardo Silva after he leaves Manchester City in this summer.

Photomack reports that the Turkish club They have ‘started efforts’ to include Silva in their team once he becomes a free agent.

manchester city tour

According to their information, sporting director Devin Ozek and football branch manager Erton Torunogullari will travel to England after the Galatasaray derby on Sunday.

They are planning to hold the first meeting with Bernardo Silva’s agent to discuss a move this summer.

There are also plans to beat rivals Galatasaray to his signature. This would involve the Manchester City star being offered a higher salary than the one already offered by Galatasaray. There is no mention of statistics at this point.

But Fenerbahçe are getting serious about the Manchester City midfielder. His planned trip to England to meet his agent is proof of this.

fierce european competition

The question is whether the Turkish side can win the race for the 31-year-old, with half of Europe seemingly ready for him.

The Manchester City star remains an attractive option, especially on a free transfer. And several European sides are already making moves for them behind the scenes.

Juventus have been keen for months, while Galatasaray are also making an offer. In fact, a report last month had Bernardo Silva There is a €15m deal to be decided between the two clubs.

This appears to have spurred Fenerbahce into action. They don’t want to let him go elsewhere in Turkey without putting an offer on the table themselves. Thus, their director will be traveling to England this week to speak to his agent and state his case.

This will add another layer to an already developing transfer battle. Silva will have plenty of suitors and even more offers when he leaves Manchester City on a free transfer this summer.

Vegas loses puck luck battle, loses Game 2

las vegas- Lady luck was not on Vegas’ side as the Utah Mammoth (1-1) defeated the Vegas Golden Knights (1-1) 3-2 to tie the first-round series at one on Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena. Both teams took advantage of their opponent’s mistakes, but both teams also took advantage of some puck luck. In Game 2, it was Utah that had a little more luck on its side, otherwise it was a fairly evenly played game.

In an eventful first round, Lady Puck Luck was on the side of both teams. With Utah’s Logan Cooley held for interference, the Vegas power play began to work. Mark Stone (2) gained control of the puck low and attempted a cross-crease pass to teammate Tomas Hertl. However, instead of the puck reaching Hertl, it deflected off the skate of Utah defenseman Mikhail Sergachev and into the net at 11:42 of the first. It was Stone’s 12th career power play goal in the postseason, the most in Vegas franchise history, and his 43rd postseason goal overall.

Utah got a bit of a run of luck when they tied the game at one each. With 3:01 left in the first, McKenzie Weegar (1) took a shot from the point that bounced off Vegas defenseman Noah Hanifin, then off the stick of netminder Carter Hart, then off the right shin pad of Vegas defenseman Rasmus Andersen once again and past an unmarked Hart.

A total of eight penalties were called in the first period, five against Utah and three on Vegas. To no one’s surprise, five of the eight penalties in the first period were for roughing. The penalty box parade will continue to start the second period. At 2:27 of the second frame, Nick Dowd was whistled for tripping and the Utah power play went back to work. This power play was notable, not because of the Utah goal, but because of four Vegas blocked shots during the penalty kill, two of which seriously fouled Hanifin and Jeremy Lazaun, respectively. While both players were hobbled on the bench, they were both able to continue the game after some recovery time. Vegas would kill all four Utah penalties in the game.

Unsuccessful attempts by both teams resulted in the next two goals of the game. Four seconds after Utah killed another Vegas power play, the Mammoth took that momentum and then took their first lead of the night. Mitch Marner attempted to clear the puck from under his own goal line, but Utah defenseman Kyler Yamamoto was able to thwart the clearing attempt with his right glove and then completed a backhand, cross-ice pass to Dylan Guenther (1), who was positioned at the top of the left circle. He then fired a one-time blast that sent Hart high up to his stick-side. The goal came at 14:56 of the second minute, giving Utah a 2-1 lead. However, this gain will be short-lived.

Just 1:02 later, Ivan Barbashev (2) deflected a Sergachev pass attempt at center ice and then skated in a one-on-three, but somehow managed to dance past all three Utah players like the Bellagio fountain and then backhand over the glove of Utah netminder Karel Vejmelka to tie the game at two and that’s how the score stood until the second intermission.

The goaltenders took center stage in the third period, as both teams gave the opposing netminders a tough run, but each played brilliantly. However, late in the third, Utah was able to solve Hart for the third time through sheer tenacity. Guenther took a shot at Hart, then got his rebound and fired it off the post. As Guenther looked up to the sky in disbelief, his teammate Logan Cooley (2) swooped in and intercepted the rebound off the post and pushed it past Hart to put Utah ahead 3-2 with exactly six minutes left in regulation. With the goal, Cooley became the youngest American-born player to score in the first two playoff games of his career.

Vegas pulled Hart for an extra attacker and put some pressure on him late, but could not get the equalizer. Utah’s win is considered their first in franchise history as they were considered an expansion franchise after relocating to Utah from Arizona the previous season. While this was the first playoff win for Utah, it was the first regulation loss for Vegas under coach John Tortorella. Vegas was 8-0-1 since Tortorella became the new bench boss on March 30.

The series will now change venues to Salt Lake City’s Delta Center for Games 3 and 4. Game 3 will take place on Friday night and will be Utah’s inaugural home playoff game.

notes

  • The final shots on goal were 29–21 in favor of Utah.
  • The Hites defeated Utah 33–31.
  • Blocked shots also led to a 17–15 win in Utah’s favor.
  • The faceoff winning percentage was split equally at 50%.

Manchester United and Chelsea keen on Sangaré

The player’s impressive performances for the French club in the Premier League have not gone unnoticed.

The Serie A team is fourth in the standings, two points ahead of fifth-placed Como and three ahead of sixth-placed AS Roma.

The Old Lady are already working on some operations, although everything will depend on Champions League qualification.

Newcastle United transfer sees international tug-of-war – countries battle after Magpies deal

newcastle united

newcastle united have moved quickly to secure Johan Martínez, and have continued a clear strategy of targeting elite South American prospects before their value explodes.

The 16-year-old winger comes from Independiente del Valle, a club that has become one of the most reliable talent factories in the region.

That background alone raises expectations for Martinez. Players developed in IDV’s youth academy are rarely mediocre. Names like Moises Caicedo and Piero Hincapie have already made the leap into European football with impact. Newcastle are effectively shopping along the same lines again.

At the same time, Martínez’s profile has increased rapidly in the last year. His performances at youth level, combined with strong physical and technical qualities, have pushed him onto the radar of many European clubs. The move to St James’ Park reflects both their current level and their long-term range, As we have explained in detail earlier.

However, as his club future becomes clearer, a different story has begun to develop around his international career.

Newcastle United arrival has dual nationality

Johan Martínez was born in Ecuador, making him eligible to represent the Ecuador national team. This is the country he is currently playing for at the youth level.

Yet their situation is not so simple. His father is Colombian, which opens the door for him to represent the Colombia national team.

That dual nationality has already started agitation from both sides. Colombia made a strong effort in 2025, identifying Martínez as a priority target for their youth teams. At that stage, Ecuador did not rely on him much, and they also failed to qualify for the U17 World Cup.

As a result, Martínez came close to switching allegiance. as mentioned rcn sportsHe began the process of obtaining a Colombian passport and indicated a desire to represent Colombia at the international level.

Change of direction before major tournament

Despite that speed, the situation changed when official decisions had to be made.

Martínez received a formal call-up from Colombia for the U17 World Cup. Around the same time, Ecuador offered him a chance to train with the senior national team as a sparring player. The report confirmed that she chose the latter.

This decision proved to be a turning point. Martínez declined Colombia’s invitation and instead aligned himself with the Ecuadorian arrangement. He is now representing Ecuador at the South American U17 Championship.

Time has made the situation even more serious. His move to Newcastle United increased his performances and both national teams had obvious reasons to secure his commitment early on.

What does this mean for Newcastle United

Johan Martínez’s international future is not yet fully decided, as his young presence does not tie him permanently to one country.

Nevertheless, its current trajectory points towards Ecuador. Newcastle United will likely keep a close eye on this one, as international involvement can shape development, experience and market value.

For now, it’s just another layer in a rapidly growing career. Martínez is preparing for a future in the Premier League while also considering a decision that could define his international identity.

For Newcastle, the focus remains on development. They have secured one of South America’s most promising young wingers. The rest of his story at club and international level is still being written.

Kentucky and Louisville battle for best point guard in transfer portal?

A new report shows that in-state rivals Kentucky and Louisville are the top contenders for, arguably, the best point guard in this month’s college basketball transfer portal.

For Kentucky and Louisville, the 2025–26 seasons fell below the programs’ standards. The Cardinals regressed a bit last season, after winning 27 games – 18 in conference – last season. Posting a disappointing 11–7 record in the ACC and being bounced in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. While disappointing, it was better than the Wildcats.

Despite what many felt was a strong roster to start the season, Kentucky finished 22–14 and posted a miserable 10–8 record in the SEC this season. To make matters worse, after reaching the regional semifinals a year ago, they barely got past Santa Clara in the tournament’s opening round. They were then defeated by Iowa State in the round of 32.

Coaches Pat Kelsey and Mark Pope are beginning to feel the pressure of high expectations for their programs, and they will both look to the transfer portal for an improved season in 2026-27. What’s strange is that both schools are targeting the same player.

Robert Wright III is a top target for Louisville and Kentucky

According to 24/7 Sports basketball analyst Travis Branham, Louisville has been one of the most offensive teams in the portal and is expected to be in the pursuit of BYU guard Robert Wright III as they look to replace Mikel Brown after he declares for June’s NBA draft.

However, he is expected to get competition from Kentucky, which does not have a traditional point guard on the roster after this week’s graduation and Portal departure. With a shortage of impact point guards on the market and high demand, Branham suggests Wright III could become one of the highest-paid players in college basketball from a portal bidding war.

After transferring from Baylor last year, Wright III had a successful season for BYU. Posting 18.1 points (second on the team), 4.6 assists and 1.2 steals – both tops for the Cougars.

‘Competition from Celtic’ – battle with Martin O’Neill’s side for vital transfer

celtic

celtic Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been the No. 1 since arriving at Celtic Park on a free transfer in 2024. Martin O’Neill has not been able to rely on the 39-year-old for more than a month due to injury.

The Dane’s contract at Celtic expires in June and his future remains uncertain at the club.

The main reason is that Schmeichel is injured and needs another surgery on a shoulder problem.

The stopper has hinted he could be out for up to 10 months, forcing Celtic to make changes.

O’Neill has used Viljami Sinisalo in Schmeichel’s absence while Celtic will have to look for a new stopper in the summer.

Celtic is focusing on the Australian

The Scottish Premiership club are already considering a few options, including Levante UD goalkeeper Matthew Ryan.

is according to football 24Joe covers Celtic’s interest in reports focusing mainly on Club Brugge.

Simon Mignolet has been the number 1 for the Jupiler Pro League team for years and will retire at the end of this season. This has seen Club Brugge looking for an adequate replacement.

Last weekend, sports witness Claims Covered by Belgaum Matze sells of Nottingham Forest as a top target, but this operation is not financially feasible for Club Brugge.

There are other targets too and Ryan’s name is prominent. The 34-year-old joined the La Liga team on a free transfer in August 2025 and has been their No. 1 this season.

His league statistics this season are as follows:

  • Appearances: 28
  • Start: 28
  • Accepted target: 45
  • Clean sheets: 5
  • Saves per game: 3.7

The Australia international has previously toured in England with Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal.

Club Brugge’s final choice will be made based on the stopper’s ‘availability, cost and playing vision’. Ryan’s experience would make him a potential choice to replace Mignolet.

However, the Belgian club will have to worry about ‘competition from Celtic’ as Martin O’Neill’s side are also keen. The next few months will be crucial in the battle for the Australian signature.

Contract, price and agent information

Matthew Ryan has less than three months left on his contract at Levante UD, who retain the option to extend it for a further year.

its value, according to transfer market€2m, and the highest was €10m in June 2019. British agency CAA is representing the stellar goalkeeper.

Manchester United, Aston Villa and Manchester City battle for €30m player – want transfer as soon as possible

kerim alajbegovic

Manchester UnitedChelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa Red Bulls are keen to sign Hamburg’s Kerim Alajbegovic.

The 18-year-old’s development at the Austrian club has been noticed by Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Aston Villa and others.

He left the academy of 1. FC Köln for Bayern Leverkusen in 2021 and spent four years with the latter’s youth system.

In July 2025, the Bundesliga side sold him to Red Bull Hamburg and the move has worked out well so far.

Operating mainly on the left wing and occasionally as a right winger, he scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 37 matches.

His Austrian Bundesliga statistics this season are as follows:

  • Appearances: 21
  • Start: 16
  • Total minutes: 1,406
  • Minutes per game: 67
  • Expected target: 3.31
  • Expected Support: 3.53
  • Goal conversion: 11%
  • Big chances created: 6

His impressive performances helped him make his debut for the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina team in September. Earlier in the season, Sport Witness Covered claims from Germany Manchester United is looking for youth.

PL Quartet in Pictures for Transfer

from bosnia National team The report adds that several English clubs ‘want to complete the transfer of Kerim Alajbegovic as soon as possible.’ Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa come to mind immediately.

It has been claimed that the Red Devils, Chelsea and Manchester City have all made contact, without clarifying whether it is with his agent, the club or both. Aston Villa are also in the mix and will try to make an approach.

On 26 March, Bayer Leverkusen announced A buyback clause has been activated to bring the attacker back to the club in the summer. Premier League sides will have to negotiate with the German club to secure his services.

Bayer Leverkusen is in a comfortable position to negotiate a potential sale. The outlet claims ‘a fee of around €30m is in the works’ and the fee could rise further if there is a bidding war.

Our take: PL move could happen too soon

If Kerim Aljabegovic is to make a move to the Premier League in the summer, he may struggle to get regular minutes initially.

He did not make his debut for Bayer Leverkusen’s first team, and this is his first season at the highest level. The young attacker has played 2,117 minutes so far this season.

Due to lack of sufficient experience, the Bosnian player will not be able to enjoy minutes at Manchester United, Chelsea or Manchester City.

Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that his five-year contract will come into effect from the summer. According to its value transfer marketIs €15m.

Sunderland face AS Roma transfer battle – must be able to win financially and along the PL stretch

Sunderland transfer target John Lukumi
Sunderland transfer target John Lukumi

Jhon Lucumi is looking increasingly likely to leave Bologna in the summer, and Sunderland are very interested in a transfer after failing to hire him a few months ago.

The defender was in the news as a transfer marker for Bologna last summer. The Black Cats made an offer to sign him immediately after his release clause expired. Those times were unfortunate for the Premier League club.

Lukumi was very curious – as covered sports witness in the past, but Bologna managed to hold on to it. The Rossoblu were proud of their decision, even though the Colombian had refused a renewal beyond 2027.

Fast forward to now, and Lukumi has yet to commit to a new deal and is looking to depart in the summer.

There is still interest from Sunderland but there is a new contender in the race.

AS Roma in the hunt

Forzaroma’s francesco balzani It is reported that Lukumi will be a prize asset for the summer transfer window. The journalist is confident that Bologna will not force him to stay and that he will not sign any new agreements.

Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has had a ‘long-standing crush’ on the South American since his time at Atalanta. They also attempted to sign him last summer and now, with Ivan Ndika leaving, a deal could become possible.

Roma could make up to €40m from the Ivorian’s exit and use that money to sign Lucumi.

Their biggest hurdle is Sunderland, who remain interested. It is believed that Colombians have long been in love with the Italian capital and have often expressed this on social media. But he might also like to go to England – as happened last summer.

The Premier League and additional finance should change this.

Sunderland transfer competition heats up

Given that Lukumi’s contract expires in 2027, it is no surprise that competition for him is increasing. In January, even Manchester City were mentioned as contenders, but it felt like a fleeting interest based on injuries.

While Sunderland have made progress this year, Lukumi may feel like he must compete for silverware.

He won the Coppa Italia with Bologna last season, and has also been playing in Europe for two seasons now. Ideally this is why he might prefer to join a major club that guarantees him playing at a high level.

That said, he clearly fancied a transfer to Sunderland last summer and has since established himself further.

Devils Lose Game, Battle Rangers at MSG

The New Jersey Devils have dominated their cross-Hudson-rivals the New York Rangers over the past two seasons.

But the Rangers finally struck back Tuesday, both literally and figuratively.

The Rangers dominated from the start of the game, then Igor Shesterkin dealt a blow to both Jacob Markstrom and the Devils by setting up a much-discussed goalie fight at MSG and winning the game 4–1.

The Devils lost for the second time in three games, with both losses coming against a Metropolitan Division opponent. Their sad number, where they will be eliminated from Stanley Cup playoff contention, is six.

The Rangers have been one of the worst teams at home all season, and the Devils have skated circles around them the past two seasons.

But in a game the Devils needed to keep their faint playoff hopes alive, they were unprepared to play. New Jersey gave up nine high-danger chances in the first period and scored two goals, including JT Miller’s power-play goal, his second goal at the Garden all season.

Devils coach Sheldon Keefe said, “I thought they were really good tonight, and we weren’t nearly as good.” “Defensively, we weren’t as strong when it came time to defend.”

Devils captain Nico Hischier echoed Keefe’s sentiments.

“They played more tenaciously,” Hischier said. “They wanted it more, and they worked harder. … We couldn’t find a way.”

Markstrom made five saves in the first-period and stopped just 18 shots in the game. But the Devils got just eight high-danger scoring chances at 5-on-5 and surrendered 20 in all situations in the game.

“We have made life really difficult [Markstrom]Even when we didn’t need to,” Keefe said. “We’ve got to play better defense, and we’ve got to find ways to execute on offense.”

The much-publicized goaltender battle between Markstrom and Shesterkin will be talked about for years to come. Rangers members applauded their goalkeeper for fending off Markstrom’s challenge. But the Devils goalie explained why it was time for him to take on the 2022 Vezina Trophy winner.

“I felt like I needed to do something,” Markstrom said. “It’s disappointing to give up four goals, and you want to get involved, you want to do something. As a goalkeeper, that’s not really my job.

“We’re down 4-1, and I was just trying to get a spark or something.”

Keefe recognized Markstrom’s effort in trying to wake up his club by skating onto the rink and challenging Shesterkin to drop his gear, even though he took the brunt of Shesterkin’s punches.

“It shows what a competitor he is,” Keefe said. “At a moment like this, where we are in the season, it takes a lot of courage, but it also shows that you are a competitor to skate on the rink without hesitation and go and do that, then put your stuff back out and go out and shoot a penalty, that’s a pretty extraordinary thing to do.

“I thought he’s a guy who has struggled throughout the game. If anything, a fight like this should send a message to the group about how much they’re invested in [Markstrom] And we need the rest of the group at all times.”

Atletico Madrid line up for Arsenal transfer battle – Andrea Berta fears midfielder snatched

Arsenal targets Brazilian midfielder Ederson playing for Atalanta
Arsenal targets Brazilian midfielder Ederson playing for Atalanta

Atletico Madrid fear competition from Arsenal in the race to sign Atalanta’s Ederson.

The Brazil international could be on the move in the summer and Arsenal have been pulled into the mix.

He joined the Serie A team from Salernitana in 2022 and has been a regular for them since then. The player was a key part of the La Dea team that won the Europa League during the 2023/24 season.

This season, Ederson played 2,502 minutes in 33 matches, scoring two goals and one assist.

His Serie A statistics are as follows:

  • Appearances: 23
  • Start: 20
  • Total minutes: 1,688
  • Minutes per game: 73
  • Tackles per game: 2.0
  • Balls recovered per game: 4.4
  • Duels won per game: 4.4

Arsenal transfer threat to Atletico

The La Liga side have long been keen to sign Ederson and have already made a strong effort for the next window.

This is as per Wednesday’s edition MarkWho mentioned Arsenal in a report on Los Rojiblancos. His title states: ‘Atletico Madrid’s ‘anti-Premier League’ offensive for Ederson’.

A few days ago, Los Rojiblancos sporting director Matteo Alemany traveled to Italy for a meeting with Atalanta president Antonio Percassi. The meeting was to accelerate negotiations and attempt to secure an agreement for the 26-year-old player’s transfer to the Spanish club.

Diego Simeone’s side are unwilling to offer more than €35m plus €5m in bonuses while La Dea are demanding €50m. Despite the differences, the former are insisting on securing his services.

On March 13, Game Witness broadcast news Manchester United will battle Atletico for Ederson. The source put his initial price at €30m, which is €20m less than the price reported by Marca.

The newspaper makes no mention of any other English club apart from the Gunners. Alemany travels to Italy ‘Premier League threat’.

He decided to take action on behalf of Mikel Arteta to prevent interference from clubs whose financial strength is superior to that of Atlético. The South American earns €4-5m per year and this should be affordable for both Arsenal and Simeone.

Andrea Berta clear link

Andrea Berta is currently working in a sporting director role for Arsenal, and before that he was well established at Atletico Madrid. Los Rojiblancos’ concerns could therefore be based on the fact that Berta likes the player.

Ederson’s contract expires in 2027, meaning the next window will be Atalanta’s last big chance to collect a decent fee. According to its value transfer market€40m, and is represented by Andre Curie.

last november Agent mentioned That €30-40 million may be enough, and his client’s sales may be thriving in this area. At the lower end of that estimate, the transfer looks very good value for money.

Manchester United ‘have already made moves for free agents’ – facing Arsenal battle

leon goretzka

Manchester United have joined Arsenal and other clubs in the pursuit of Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka.

The 31-year-old’s contract expires in June and he has confirmed his decision to leave Bayern Munich after this season.

His contract status and experience make him an attractive option for Manchester United, Arsenal and other clubs in the market.

Despite his decision to leave, Vincent Kompany continues to trust the midfielder, who has made 37 appearances so far this season.

His Bundesliga statistics per game are as follows:

  • Intercept: 0.9
  • Tackle: 0.8
  • Possession won (final third): 0.3
  • Recovered balls: 3.1
  • Clearance: 1.3
  • Duel won: 2.6

Last month, Sports Witness broadcast news That the Gunners and their north London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, are pursuing him.

Manchester United will face Arsenal

gazzetta dello sport Now cover the latest on Manchester United, Arsenal and Serie A’s interest in Leon Goretzka.

Italian clubs have a greater tendency to focus on free agents and this is also the case with the Bayern Munich star.

AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan are all keen on the Germany international. Last week, Sports Witness Covered claims from Italy That he would favor going to the Emirates.

Despite this and despite Inter Milan negotiating with his agent, Milan sporting director Igli Tare refused to give up.

Gazzetta have now taken notice of him and reported Manchester United have entered the pursuit of the player.

Both the Red Devils and Arsenal have ‘already made moves for the free agent’ and will battle for his signature in the summer. Juve, Milan and Inter Milan are also keen.

Goretzka earns €9m per year and requires at least €7m annually from his next club. All Italian clubs are willing to offer him a three-year deal, but wage demands have put him out of reach.

This would benefit Manchester United and Arsenal, who could fight for his signature after this season.

Manchester United should prioritize midfield signings

Michael Carrick has Casemiro, Coby Manu, Manuel Ugarte and Mason Mount as midfielders. The manager has shifted Bruno Fernandes into his preferred role as an attacking midfielder.

Casemiro has announced his decision to leave Old Trafford after this season. Ugarte, who has struggled for regular minutes, could also be gone. Even if he has to stay, Manchester United will need to bring in a new midfielder in the summer.

Leon Goretzka could replace Casemiro, while the Red Devils could make a big investment in another young midfielder.

Manchester United and Tottenham send scouts for €50m signing – Premier League battle building

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur could compete in the summer for Besiktas captain Orkun Koçku, whose return to form has sparked serious interest in England and beyond.

The Fanatic reports that After a slow start to the season, the 25-year-old has performed strongly, attracting interest from Europe’s elite.

According to their information, Manchester United and Tottenham are keeping a close eye on him, including ahead of Besiktas’ recent clash with Kasımpaşa, where he reportedly scored ‘high marks’.

manchester united midfield refresh

United’s recruitment team are actively monitoring their dynamic midfield profile ahead of the summer window.

Koçku’s mix of press resistance, ball progression and leadership fits the club’s effort for a younger, more mobile midfield core.

Meanwhile, Tottenham may look to strengthen their midfield this summer. This will certainly be the case if Joao Palinha’s loan from Bayern Munich is not made permanent. Today a report says that this will not happen.

inter milan interest

Manchester United and Tottenham are not the only sides showing interest. Inter Milan is also making efforts.

According to The Fanatic, the Serie A leaders are keen to add Kokkou as part of their long-term midfield succession plan. Their interest could cause problems for the Premier League pair.

Besiktas set their price

Besiktas has made its stance clear. There will be no sales unless the offer is ‘astronomical’. €50 million is the minimum price they will consider for the 25-year-old.

He is currently valued at €25m by Transfermarkt and has never been valued higher than €35m in 2023. But Besiktas see the midfielder at the center of their plans and will only negotiate if a major European side forces their hand.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester United or Tottenham are willing to pay €50m. For now, it appears they are only searching for a midfielder. But he could be an interesting name to move into in the summer window.

Erik Spoelstra is surprised by LeBron James’ battle with Father Time in Year 23

MIAMI – The Miami Heat are attempting to reach the playoffs in a tight Eastern Conference standings, with the first game of the season’s final 13 at home against the Los Angeles Lakers and superstar LeBron James. With the Heat facing tough games ahead, head coach Erik Spoelstra explained how James is standing the test of time.

James is 41 years old, in his 23rd season in the NBA, and it’s barely noticeable that he’s lost a step, adding another level to his already legendary status as one of the top players in NBA history. In addition to demonstrating that James was a key part in bringing two championships to Miami along with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh during the “Big 3” era.

Spoelstra was apparently the head coach of those teams, as he described how James was “giving Father Time hell.” In addition to watching closely from his time in Miami, Spoestra also watched as Team USA’s assistant coach as James and Co. earned a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“You just have to have total respect for his level of competitiveness,” Spoelstra said before the Heat played the Lakers on Thursday night. “You know, he’s not only competing against the entire league, but he’s competing against Father Time, and he’s giving Father Time hell, he really is. And you have to respect that.”

“This doesn’t happen by accident,” Spoelstra continued. “I obviously saw a lot of his habits 14 years ago, but then at the USA weeks, you could see how dedicated he was to all the different things, shooting, player development, but also lifting and mobility and everything to keep his body right. It was impressive. He’s doing a lot of impressive things.”

Heat’s Erik Spoelstra says LeBron James could play another decade

This is not the first time that the Heat’s head coach in Spoelstra has praised James, it is a common occurrence every time the star has returned to Miami to take on his former team. Even if the sports world wonders when James will retire, Spoelstra believes he can play basketball for the next “decade” if he wants to.

“Size, strength and IQ. What he can do with his body and the way he takes care of himself,” Spoelstra said on December 4, 2024. United, but at this size, and if he wants to slow the game down and just play, you know, away from his brain and IQ, he can do that for another decade, I doubt he’ll find the interest in it, but he can.

At any rate, who knows if Thursday night at the Cascade Center will be the last time James plays in Miami, but it can’t be denied that fans will remember the superstar who led the team to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances from 2011-2014. Additionally, Spoelstra is trying to defeat James, the Lakers and any other team that stands in the way of the Heat as they sit 38-31, seventh in the East, entering Thursday’s game against Los Angeles.

Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United ready for battle – club prefers sale to England

david fratesi

Inter Milan’s Davide Fratesi has had a tough 2025/26 campaign. Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United may have rekindled hopes of landing the midfielder.

At the end of the winter transfer window, the Italian was close to a move to the Midlands.

After all this, nothing has really changed for the midfielder. He has started only once since the end of January, only coming off the bench in the last three matches in Serie A.

With his chances of being called up to the Italian national team looking difficult, Nottingham Forest may have another chance at the player. Newcastle United could also be back in the fray for him.

interest David Fratesi reports he is looking for a club where he can play more often. Nottingham Forest were seen as that opportunity and interest remained in a summer stay.

Newcastle United are also back in the race, having tried to sign him in 2025. They approached him late – as covered sports witnessBut the Nerazzurri rejected the offer.

Now, both clubs could battle it out for the former Sassuolo player, who would also be willing to stay in England.

AS Roma are keen to bring him back but Inter’s stance could be crucial in this situation. They are not interested in swap deals or initial loans for Fratesi, which are likely to benefit Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.

Only Roma’s Mile Swiller would tempt him in a swap but he is too important for the Giallorossi right now.

Agent connection could help Forest and Magpies

At the moment, Davide Fratessi is represented by Giuseppe Risso and also represents Sandro Tonali and Lorenzo Lucca.

This could make it easier for Nottingham Forest or Newcastle United to land the player. It has been established that Riso has a good working relationship with both clubs.

Additionally, Fratesse provides unique value to its teams. He is not a technical midfielder who dictates the pace of the game. The 26-year-old is adept at finding opportunities in the box and loves to score – as evidenced by his impressive record for Italy.

He could be a very reliable option in attack for the two English clubs, with the player also desperate to leave Inter.

Celtic ready for transfer battle with Borussia Dortmund

Celtic have expressed interest in bringing Chivas de Guadalajara star Armando Gonzalez to Celtic Park in the summer. Martin O’Neill’s side will have to be wary of the competition they face from Borussia Dortmund.

This is as of Tuesday’s edition imageWho cover the latest on Celtic and BVB.

On 21 February, Khel Sakshi broadcast news There is interest in the 22-year-old from O’Neill from Mexico.

The same source said West Ham United and Barcelona are also in the picture along with Celtic.

Two days later, witness the game Covered Claims Celtic’s approach is not yet concrete. The Bundesliga side could take advantage of this to try and sign the striker after this season.

Bild’s report mainly focuses on the German club’s desire to bring the Mexico international to Signal Iduna Park.

Celtic to battle with Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund are planning to make significant changes to their squad next season. His manager, Niko Kovac, and sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, have devised a plan.

BVB scouts are actively monitoring several players, including Gonzalez, who is on the target list to improve the attack in the next window. These officers have seen him closely on many occasions.

Kovac’s side are seriously considering signing the Mexican. The main reason for this is that his contract expires in the summer and he will be available on a free transfer.

According to the report, a move to Germany seems to be at the top of the player’s list. Borussia Dortmund are not alone as Celtic, West Ham, Barcelona and Feyenoord are in the mix.

In short, O’Neill’s side are set to battle BVB and others to sign Gonzalez.

Our opinion: Why Gonzalez could be a deal for Celtic

The Origin Story: From Creepy Archives to Global Icons

The legends of Slenderman and Splendorman represent the duality of human fear and joy. Slenderman, born from the “Something Awful” forums in 2009, represents the existential dread of the unknown—an entity that stalks from the tree lines, static-voiced and faceless. Conversely, Splendorman emerged as a parody that eventually took on a life of its own, embodying “Happy-pastas” with his polka-dot suit and bells.

At Đá Gà TV, we treat these legends with the same analytical rigor as professional sports. By understanding the Lore, viewers can better appreciate the stakes involved when these two cosmic forces collide in the digital arena.

Comparative Analysis: Slenderman vs. Splendorman

While they share a similar silhouette, their methods of interaction with the human world are polar opposites. Slenderman utilizes psychological warfare, causing “Slender Sickness” (nausea, memory loss, and paranoia). Splendorman, however, uses supernatural charisma, though some deeper lores suggest his “kindness” is merely a different form of reality-altering madness.

To determine a winner, one must look at the specific attributes that Đá Gà TV analysts have tracked over years of community feedback and archive deep-dives.

Expert Reviews: Why This Rivalry Dominates Trends

“The fascination with Slenderman vs. Splendorman on Đá Gà TV stems from our obsession with the ‘Uncanny Valley.’ We aren’t just watching two tall men fight; we are watching the conflict between nihilism and blind optimism.” — Dinh Hoang, Senior Horror Analyst.

“In terms of digital engagement, the ‘Splendor’ vs. ‘Slender’ debate sees some of our highest interaction rates. It bridges the gap between those who love classic horror and those who enjoy deconstructive comedy.” — Official Review from the Đá Gà TV Content Board.

The Verdict: Who Wins the Creepypasta Crown?

If we look at a direct physical confrontation, Slenderman’s ruthlessness and ability to induce physical illness usually give him the upper hand. However, Splendorman’s ability to negate negative energy can act as a natural shield. On the Đá Gà TV official platform, the consensus remains: Slenderman wins in a vacuum of terror, but Splendorman wins in terms of psychological resilience.

Ultimately, the winner is the audience that continues to keep these legends alive through creative storytelling and community debates.

Ryerson: Manchester United and Newcastle United ahead of right-back transfer battle

Both Manchester United and Newcastle United are in the mix for Borussia Dortmund full-back Julian Ryerson, and Dortmund could put him up for sale this summer.

This is according to BILD. The German newspaper reports that Ryerson could be sacrificed by the Bundesliga club to help balance the books.

According to his information, Dortmund need to make around €27m this summer. Failing to progress beyond the Champions League play-off stage has left them with a financial hole that they need to fill.

To compensate for this loss, the club’s management knows that they need to sell a top player. According to BILD, a decision has now been made.

What should happen for the sale of Ryerson?

If an interested party pays around €30 million for Ryerson, the 28-year-old will be released. His ‘top performances’ have attracted the attention of Barcelona, Manchester United and Newcastle United.

He has 11 assists this season, giving him ‘elite status’ among full backs in Europe. Only Luis Diaz and Michael Olise have better assist statistics this season. Thus, Norwegians are in high demand.

BILD says the ‘King of the Cross’ could boost his market value even further with Norway at the World Cup this summer. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United or Newcastle are willing to make a move before then.

where things go from here

Julian Ryerson
LISBON, PORTUGAL – 02 11 2025: Julian Ryerson is seen during the UEFA Champions League game between the teams of Sporting CP and Borussia Dortmund

There is no indication whether any side will be willing to pay €30 million for Ryerson this summer. Given that Dortmund are desperate to sell, both will likely want to use this to their advantage.

The player being pushed out seems like a clear attempt to market him, which gives a different dynamic to the situation.

Our opinion on the situation

There is potentially a better deal to negotiate. There are plans for squad changes at Borussia Dortmund this summer. Their Champions League failure has heightened the need for major changes.

So €30 million is a starting point, and negotiations could reduce that amount.

transfer market He is valued at €20 million on a contract running until 2028. This is its highest value, and will reach that level in 2024.

Although he is primarily a right-back, Ryerson is also capable of playing on the left, making him a versatile value signing who could benefit the team profile at both clubs.

Manchester United and Liverpool ahead in transfer battle for defender – Red Devils act first

last month, sports witness Manchester United’s claims of interest in Juventus’ Pierre Kalulu covered. Liverpool are also emerging as candidates for the defender.

The Red Devils went on a scouting mission to keep an eye on the French. It happened during Juve’s Serie A clash against Inter Milan.

Kalulu was controversially sent off as the Bianconeri lost the match. As chaos erupted over Alessandro Bastoni’s diving tackle to secure a red card in Italy, it was easy to forget how important Kalulu has been this season.

Despite this, the defender could leave Turin in the summer. Manchester United and Liverpool are trying to bring him to England.

Juve is looking for attractive offers

today’s gazzetta dello sport Report on the Bianconeri’s plans for the summer. The Italian giants have big ideas they want to implement and they can only do so if there are some sales.

Kalulu is believed to be a candidate to step down, especially if given the right offer.

His impressive season in the Premier League has not gone unnoticed, with Manchester United and Liverpool ready to compete for him, with the newspaper saying a sale would be ‘dependent on offers’.

Kenan Yildiz and Weston McKennie are the only players who are not sellable. The rest of the Bianconeri squad carries a price tag.

Big money unlikely to be spent on Kalulu

Juve paid around €17m to sign Kalulu from Milan. This was an initial loan which later became permanent.

At the moment, his contract in Turin expires in the summer of 2029 and there has been no progress on a renewal so far. With all this in mind, big money is unlikely to be spent on the ex-Lyon player.

Even though he has been very impressive, the deal should be sealed by handing over capital gains to Juve. The financial situation in Serie A is generally such a delicate one.

And he would be a very useful signing for Manchester United and Liverpool. The main reason for this is his ability to play on the backline and do an equally reliable job everywhere. Furthermore, he is only 25 years old and is reaching his prime.

Tyler Herro reveals how he’s ‘finding his rhythm’ after comeback as Heat battle to avoid play-ins

The Miami Heat are attempting to avoid making the Eastern Conference Play-in Tournament for the fourth consecutive season. Tyler Herro’s ability to return to form will be key in that effort.

After a long absence due to ankle surgery and a toe injury earlier this season, Herro recently returned from a month-long absence due to a rib ailment. He had another efficient performance during Tuesday’s 124-98 win over the Brooklyn Nets, posting 22 points on 8-15 shooting in 28 minutes.

“I’m just trying to find my rhythm,” Herro said after the game. “I’ve only played less than 20 games. And every other team and player has been in rhythm and playing since October. I haven’t really played a lot of five-on-five games since last season. So it’s just steps in the right direction, continuing to see where my shots are coming from. It’s not all about scoring. It’s about making the right plays.”

Herro has averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists on .484/.371/.941 shooting splits in six appearances since returning to Miami’s lineup.

The Heat are 4-2 during that span, leaving them a half-game behind the Eastern Conference sixth-seeded Philadelphia 76ers.

Erik Spoelstra said of Herro, “I think he’s making this all look easier than it really is.” “He hasn’t played in a long time. It’s been a really short time since he’s been back. But I think it’s going to get better each game. I trust Tyler and his work. He puts in so much time. But he adds a lot to our offense. Now we’ve got this element of creativity. Definitely making shots. You don’t know where it’s going to come from. And then once he gets you into his three-ball rhythm, I think it’s “Will really help impact our offense at another level.”

The Heat have faced problems taking care of business despite inferior competition this season. However, they dominated on Tuesday by tanking nets from the opening tip to the final buzzer.

Spoelstra’s squad shot 45 of 91 (49.5 percent) from the field with 28 assists and 12 turnovers. Meanwhile, they held Brooklyn to 33 of 86 (38.4 percent) from the field and 6 of three (18.8 percent) from three, while forcing 18 turnovers.

Miami, Philadelphia and the Orlando Magic are separated by a half-game for the East’s sixth to eighth seeds.

Bam Adebayo said, “It’s the second half of the season. We need these wins. We can’t afford to miss any more.” “We had enough during the first half of the season. You have to hold yourself to a higher standard of accountability, and it gets uncomfortable sometimes because you know you feel like you don’t want to go too far. Uh, but you know in that sense man we are us, we’re past that stage and you know we’re trying to do something special. Uh, and it’s going to take all of us and we have to hold each other accountable and Uh have to face some intense situations.”

Newcastle United and Chelsea set for AC Milan transfer battle

darwin nunez

Newcastle United and Chelsea are set to battle AC Milan for Darwin Nunez back to the Premier League.

This is according to TuttomercatowebRelaying information for Gazzetta dello Sport. According to the Italian newspaper, there is a three-way battle on the cards for the former Liverpool striker.

Their information is that AC Milan are targeting Nunez in the summer transfer window.

The Italian club are looking to strengthen their attack at the end of the season, and the Al-Hilal forward is among the players they are pursuing.

after the liverpool clash

The 26-year-old player is under contract with the Saudi Arabian club until June 2028. He joined them from Liverpool in August 2025 for €53m. He has scored nine goals in 24 matches since then, as well as providing five assists.

However, he was recently dropped from his home team following the high-profile arrival of Karim Benzema in February. This came after reports in January indicated that Al-Hilal would approve a loan move for the striker.

Now AC Milan are eyeing a summer move. However, Gazzetta insists that they are not the only interested party. According to his information, Chelsea and Newcastle United are also in the mix. Both sides have had problems with their strikers this season.

Chelsea or Newcastle?

Of the two, Chelsea makes more sense, as reports in England link Liam Delap with an exit this summer. It appears they also have no plans for Nicholas Jackson, who will return from Bayern Munich. Interestingly, he is also on AC Milan’s list.

Newcastle are unlikely to spend big on a striker given the purchases of Nick Voltemed and Yoan Wissa in the summer transfer window.

The Magpies paid a significant fee for those signings, and it’s hard to see them spending even more money on Nunez.

However, sources in Italy believe Chelsea and Newcastle are planning a battle with AC Milan for the Uruguayan.

Daryl Janmat speaks out about drug addiction – former Newcastle and Watford player’s big battle

Daryl Janmat, who played for English clubs Newcastle United and Watford, has opened up about his cocaine addiction after the end of his playing career, describing it as a “very dark period” of his life.

talking to the local newspaper Advertisement Ahead of the premiere of the documentary ‘Real Men Don’t Cry’ – in which former Dutch players discuss the impact of specific sports on mental health – the 36-year-old admitted his problems began when he was forced to retire due to a serious knee problem.

The former Netherlands international earned 34 caps and represented clubs including ADO Den Haag, Feyenoord, Newcastle United and Watford during his career.

“I was very, very low. Really very low,” Public opinion said. “I have three children who listen and read things. I can’t and don’t want to tell all the details, but my cocaine addiction caused a lot of grief.”

End of career started going downwards

Janmat reported that his struggle began when a knee injury effectively ended his professional career. After an injection went awry and a joint became infected, he had to accept retirement earlier than planned.

“I still wanted it so much, but the knee injury ruined everything,” He said. “My career was over. I couldn’t deal with it.”

Moving into a technical manager role at ADO Den Hague didn’t help. Instead, he found himself without the structure that had defined his life as a player.

“As a player everything is clear. You go from training to training, match to match. When all that disappeared and as a technical manager I didn’t feel in the right place, it went wrong. And properly wrong.”

He admitted that the addiction gradually increased. “You start lying to people you love. It’s horrible. I’ve hurt a lot of people.”

Life after football and a warning to others

Janmat insisted that pressure was never an issue during his playing days. He referenced major occasions, including the World Cup semi-finals and Premier League matches with Newcastle United and Watford, and said he could handle the stress on the pitch.

“The problems started only after I stopped,” he explained.

In 2023, reports emerged in the Netherlands that he was found to be under the influence of drugs. Shortly after, he entered a rehabilitation clinic in South Africa.

Now, he says he has rebuilt his life. Janmat runs his own gym in Scheveningen and recently appeared in a legends match for Feyenoord against Celtic.

“It was cocaine, nothing else. No alcohol,” He said. “It can happen to anyone. I never thought I could get addicted.”

Janmat also revealed that although he is officially still married, he and his wife are no longer together. “A lot of damage was done,” He accepted, adding that they now have a better relationship.

He hopes speaking publicly will serve as a warning.

“Cocaine destroys a lot. Addiction is a real battle. It breaks a lot. I’ve gone in a different direction now – good direction. Luckily.”

Sufiyan El Karouni
UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS – 6 NOVEMBER 2025: Soufiane El Karouni, Victor Frohold during the UEFA Europa League 2025-26 league stage MD4 match between FC Utrecht and FC Porto at Stadion Galgenwaard

West Ham United and Leeds United are among the clubs to sign Soufiane El Karouni from FC Utrecht.

is according to Africa FootJoe covers the latest on West Ham and Leeds United and the left-back’s future plans.

The Morocco international has less than six months left on his contract and is unlikely to sign an extension.

West Ham and Leeds United in battle

His contract situation makes him an attractive option for a number of clubs, such as West Ham and Leeds United, who are ‘keen to secure a strategic signing’.

sports witness Dutch claims covered Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have shown interest in the 25-year-old for the winter market. Even two months ago he hailed the hammers as a “great club”, but the move never materialized in January.

Erik Spoelstra gives perspective on Myron Gardner-Scottie Pippen Jr. battle

While Scottie Pippen Jr. of the Memphis Grizzlies was busy giving his opponents “hugs,” Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra had a much different view of the chaos that occurred late Saturday night.

Following the Heat’s 136–120 win over the Grizzlies, Spoelstra addressed a fourth-quarter brawl in which Pippen and Miami forward Myron Gardner were ejected after falling into the stands. While Pippen claimed he was responding to a “soft” cheap shot, Spoelstra isn’t buying that narrative.

“I don’t know what happened on the three-point shot. I just saw Pippen fall,” Spoelstra told reporters. “I watched the play after that and he looked 95% like Pippen. Let’s see what it is. I love Myron regardless.”

“95%” Spoelstra refers to the moment Pippen charged Gardner and pushed him into the front row at the Cassia Center with 1:19 remaining. While the physical exchange made headlines, the actual basketball game was a masterclass in Heat culture.

The Miami Heat demolished Memphis with great ball movement, dishing out 36 assists. Andrew Wiggins was the star of the night, scoring 28 points on a nearly perfect shooting performance of 9 out of 10. Norman Powell added 25 points, helping Miami lead the way during a dominant third quarter by 39 points. The win was an important boost for a Heat team that has relied heavily on its depth throughout a difficult season.

The Memphis Grizzlies, playing without Ja Morant, could not maintain momentum despite a breakout performance from GG Jackson, who dropped 28 points. Before his ejection, Pippen Jr. was the only bright spot in the backcourt, finishing with 18 points and six assists.

For Memphis, it was an appropriate response to a dirty play. For Spoelstra and the Heat, it was an unnecessary addition to an already decided game. Regardless of who’s at fault, the rift between these two young players is a story worth watching the next time they meet officially.

‘Watch’ for Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle – transfer battle evolving

Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are all seen as potential competitors to Napoli for Marcos Senesi.

This is according to Area NaplesWhich covers his side’s attempts to get to the defender today. The Bournemouth man has a queue of suitors as he looks set to move on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.

Aria Napoli report that Napoli are one of the sides eyeing a move. There has been ‘reflection’ due to injuries in his squad and sporting director Giovanni Manna is already looking around.

Senesi is one of the players they have targeted. The 28-year-old defender is an old target but there may now be a way to finally get him.

Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle

The biggest problem is the competition for his signature. In this regard, Napoli need to be wary of Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle United. Roma and Juventus are also stepping up their efforts to land the Argentine.

This is not the first time that Sport Witness has linked Premier League sides with a move for the Bournemouth man.

a report on the 18thth Tottenham were put into the mix with reports suggesting they were potentially battling Barcelona for Senesi’s signature this month. This comes after a previous report on the 13thth Suggested he had his eye on her.

agents are working hard

On the 9th, Everton was named as a potential suitorth. They were in the mix in that report With the likes of Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

However, this is the first time that Aston Villa and Newcastle have been added to the mix. However, given his PSR issues in the recent window, it probably isn’t surprising that he would have his eye on free agents.

The reality is that it feels like his agents are shopping around and taking interest. This would certainly make sense as Sport Witness covered a report suggesting that the Bournemouth Senesi would be leaving this summer.

Aston Villa no longer alone – Everton and Fulham join the battle for Jeni Catamo

Ginny Catamo
Oeiras, Portugal – 07 25 2025: Francisco Trincão and Jenny Catamo are seen during the Trofeo de Cinco Violantes game between the teams of Sporting CP and Villarreal CF

Aston Villa are no longer alone in their pursuit of Jenni Catamo. According to Portuguese newspaper recordDespite this, the Sporting CP winger remains firmly on the radar of many clubs Recently renewing your contract Till 2029.

Villa were previously linked with the 25-year-old, and now Everton and Fulham have also been named as interested Premier League sides. Meanwhile, French club Lyon have been reported as “the latest to knock on the door”.

Sporting may have extended the deal of Jenny Catamo, but the noise around him has not died down.

Premier League competition is increasing

Records show that Jenni Catamo recently visited Sporting’s offices to review his contract. He received a pay rise and an extra year, keeping him tied to the club until 2029. The provision for his release remains at €60m (£51m).

However, the renewal does not guarantee that he will remain beyond this season. The report makes it clear that many clubs are constantly keeping an eye on him.

For Aston Villa, this changes the dynamic. Earlier, they appeared as a leading english lover. Now, they face domestic competition from Everton and Fulham, both of whom have been mentioned prominently in the Portuguese press.

As interest has now spread to several Premier League clubs, Sporting is benefiting. Even if the actual sale price is less than the full €60m (£51m) clause – €20m could do thisAs mentioned earlier – the bidding environment can push figures sharply upward.

French threat increases pressure

Lyon’s emergence introduces another layer. The Ligue 1 side are presented as the most recent club to make contact. Cross-league competition often strengthens the position of a selling club, especially when English spending power is involved.

From Villa’s point of view, timing could prove decisive. They already know the player’s profile and contractual situation. However, waiting too long could give rivals a chance to formalize their interest.

Sporting’s strategy seems clear. He has protected Jenny Catamo’s contract and increased his pay, yet he has not closed the door to a summer departure.

What does this mean for Aston Villa

Ginny Catamo
Munich, Germany – 9 December 2025: UEFA Champions League – FC Bayern Munich vs Sporting CP. Pictured: FC Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry and Sporting CP’s Genny Catamo in action

If Villa come back, they will enter a more competitive landscape than before. Everton and Fulham offer alternative Premier League destinations. Lyon offers continental competition.

The bet is €60 million (£51 million), but the actual fight could be well below that figure. Still, with more clubs circling around, the price may eventually rise compared to last summer’s environment.

Aston Villa are no longer talking in isolation. And in transfer markets, he alone can change everything.
