The seven-time Pro Bowler jumped onto the bench to address a 4 a.m. home emergency Wednesday morning that forced him to come off the bench for an unexpected defensive snap. ESPN shared Kittle’s ex post on Instagram. matchup? Claire Kittle vs. the bathroom spider “the size of a half dollar.”

According to Kittle, Claire woke him up in a state of complete panic before handing him the rehab oblique board he was using during his Achilles recovery. The veteran TE then performed what he described as a one-play drive.

“It only took 1 try,” Kittle posted, adding that the game-winning performance earned him a “hug and kiss” before heading back to the sideline — aka bed.

The whole thing was extreme Kittle: chaotic, hilarious, and somehow still football-coded for a rehabilitation equipment cameo. It gave fans another classic glimpse of one of the NFL’s most entertaining power couples.

Kittle’s Spider takedown came the same morning the San Francisco 49ers locked down another major schedule update for 2026. San Francisco is officially set to host the Minnesota Vikings in Mexico City during Week 11.

Meanwhile, the All-Pro tight end is still recovering from a torn Achilles suffered during the Niners’ NFC Wild Card win over the Philadelphia Eagles in January. The injury immediately became one of the franchise’s biggest offseason stories. Especially when questions are still looming over his timeline regarding his comeback at the age of 32.

Still, if Kittle’s latest post proves anything, it’s that the energy in the locker room hasn’t gone anywhere. On a day dominated by discussion of schedule breakdowns and offseason, he still managed to make headlines without a single mention of a kickoff time.

Still, it’s hard to see the 49ers rotating under the bright lights without at least a few camp snaps under his belt.

Kittle has become the heartbeat of the San Francisco 49ers offense ever since San Francisco selected him 146th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. In nine seasons, the veteran tight end has made 595 catches for 8,008 yards and 52 touchdowns and has established himself as one of the greatest TEs of all time.

Even after battling injuries last season, Kittle still put up stats like a certified playmaker – posting 57 receptions, 628 yards and seven touchdowns in just 11 games. On paper, the Niners still look poised for another Super Bowl push in the NFC, but when No. 85 is fully healthy and trucking defenders down the seam, their offense kicks into a different gear.

If Kittle can suit up to start the season and return to old form, don’t be surprised if his comeback campaign starts to garner serious Comeback Player of the Year talk.

The Dallas Cowboys recently concluded a controversial 2026 NFL Draft class that included two first-round selections and seven overall selections. They were also dealing with some drama arising from George Pinkens’ contract situation.

While Pickens recently signed his franchise tag tender, ensuring a salary of $27.3 million for the 2026 season, there were several different scenarios in play. The Cowboys were reportedly unwilling to discuss a long-term contract extension, which meant the only outcome for Pickens was to either sign the one-year franchise tag, sit out the season, or be traded to a different team.

Still, would the Cowboys really trade a superstar for the second year in a row just because they couldn’t agree on contract value? A trade may be more realistic than many people expect.

According to ESPN’s NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Pickens recently considered a trade from the Cowboys and even evaluated what his potential options would be with another team. Nevertheless, after a brief period of Pickens assessing his trade and/or contract value market, his camp decided he would be better off signing the tag and remaining with the Cowboys for the upcoming campaign.

Chances are, Pickens will play the season on the franchise tag. Of course, if the Cowboys somehow fall flat early in the season, more drama could develop, leading to even more trade speculation.

Still, the best outcome for Pickens might be to forget about all this contract drama and hope he ends up as a Pro Bowl selection for the second consecutive season. At that point, the Cowboys or any other team will have no choice but to pay him top dollar.

Now that the 2026 NFL Draft is over, the Dallas Cowboys can turn their attention to other areas. In their case, that might mean figuring out what to do with George Pickens. The team has placed the franchise tag on its other Pro Bowl wide receiver, but despite previous reports, the 25-year-old has not signed it yet.

That means anything could still happen, from the Cowboys pulling the $27.2 million franchise tag, re-signing him to a long-term contract, or possibly even a trade. If it were up to Pickens, he would prefer either a long-term contract or even a trade to Dallas rather than playing under the one-year franchise tag.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Pickens has now told the Cowboys that he either “wants a long-term contract, or he wants a trade.”

Schefter says Pickens’ agent also tried reaching out to other teams to gauge their trade interest in the star receiver, but “got nothing.” Meanwhile, the Cowboys remained “adamant” that they would not trade Pickens despite having no intention of signing him to a long-term deal this offseason.

It feels like the Micah Parsons situation is evolving again in Dallas. According to Schefter, Pickens is “more tradeable than Parsons” because the Cowboys are not ready to negotiate a long-term contract with the receiver yet.

Now that the NFL Draft is over, perhaps teams will reevaluate Pickens’ potential availability. Will someone come up with an offer too good to refuse?

George Pickens’ future in Dallas is no longer a sure thing. After quieting his doubters and improving his reputation with a breakout season for the Cowboys in 2025, owner and general manager Jerry Jones insisted for weeks that locking up the receiver to a long-term deal was inevitable. Well, that can’t happen now.

On Wednesday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter claimed in an episode Rise That “They’re nowhere with George Pickens at this point. Nowhere. They’re not really talking about an extension.” Later in the day, Cowboys COO Stephen Jones told Dallas media, “There will be no negotiations on a long-term deal,” and the pass catcher will play on his $27.3 million franchise tag next season.

This has led to much speculation that the team may consider moving Pickens during the NFL Draft, specifically in Round 1. If he makes that bold move, let’s take a look at five teams that could acquire the player who posted 93 catches, 1,429 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 2025.

Arizona Cardinals

There’s a lot of talk that Dallas would prefer to move up to No. 3 and select David Bailey or Arvel Reese — or whoever the New York Jets don’t take at No. 2. Either could be a long-term solution to fill the gap left in the pass rush after trading Micah Parsons last year.

However, some question whether the ‘Guys, giving up their picks at Nos. 12 and 20, will be tempting to the Arizona Cardinals. But if they offer Pickens and the No. 20 pick as well as the third-day pick, it could be enough. While the Cards have a messy QB situation, the combo of Pickens and Marvin Harrison Jr. will be good weapons for their signal-caller in 2026 and beyond.

New York Jets

The Cowboys could also try to move up to No. 2 as rumors have been swirling for weeks that the Jets are willing to trade down.

New York coach Aaron Glenn is feeling a lot of pressure to perform better in 2026 or he may be fired. They have high expectations for veteran QB Geno Smith. So getting another big weapon like Pickens could potentially lead to a drastic change in the offense next season. Dallas could benefit from Glenn’s frustration and get whoever they want at No. 2.

The Los Angeles Chargers are looking to take another big step forward in Year 2 under head coach Jim Harbaugh. They lack a game-breaker receiver in 2025. If Pickens were acquired he could help elevate them into a true Super Bowl contender. Due to the impact Pickens can have on offensive coordinator Mike McDaniels’ system, LA may be willing to drop their pick at 22 for the receiver and give him an extension to serve as Justin Herbert’s WR1 for years to come.

Los Angeles Rams

At the beginning of the offseason, the Los Angeles Rams showed they were fully prepared to finish their Super Bowl story when they gave up the No. 29 pick in Round 1 to the Kansas City Chiefs for All-Pro Trent McDuffie. Reports linked him to a possible trade for Philadelphia Eagles star AJ Brown last month. However, they backed out of a deal.

Would LA be willing to give up their pick at 13 in Round 1 for Pickens? Probably not. However, a deal that sends pick No. 13 and Davante Adams to Dallas for Pickens, pick 20, and a third-rounder could be possible. The Cowboys will have picks 12 and 13 in Round 1, as well as a good replacement for Pickens. While the Rams make a lethal WR duo for reigning MVP Matthew Stafford next season.

A new report has opened the door for the New York Giants or Kansas City Chiefs to move down in Round 1 of the NFL Draft, as well as land a Pro Bowl receiver.

We’re just hours away from Round 1 of the NFL Draft, one of the most exciting days on the NFL calendar. There is always speculation surrounding the annual event, but with this year’s QB class being weaker than usual, there is more talk about trades everywhere in Round 1.

One team that has been linked to a lot of trade discussions as of late is the Dallas Cowboys. They have two picks in Round 1, No. 12 and No. 20, respectively. A recent report suggests the front office is high on Miami’s Reuben Benn Jr. and Ohio State’s Caleb Downs. He has also been linked to Downes’ teammate Sonny Styles.

The Cowboys are expected to have all three off the board by 12. They can try to use two of their choices to reach the top five. But some doubt whether that would be enough for a rival club to give up a selection at that point in the draft. However, he may have another interesting trade feature: George Pickens.

During Wednesday’s edition of ESPN RiseNFL insider Adam Schefter said Dallas is “nowhere close” to an extension Pro Bowl receiver, and is projected to go in the top 10 for a player he is a fan of.

After working out for teams last week, the Arizona State receiver has been linked to the Chiefs and Giants at picks No. 9 and No. 10 in Round 1. Once again, the Cowboys are out of range if they stick with their pick. However, if they want to move up for Tyson, Downs or Benn – players who could also end up in the top 10 – Pickens could be an interesting player to play.

The Giants would love the opportunity to acquire a weapon like Pickens for Jackson Dart. If the two NFC East rivals surprisingly agreed to a trade, perhaps pick 20 for Pickens and pick 10, and Kevon Thibodeaux would be the starting point for a deal.

The Chiefs would also love to get their hands on a game-breaking receiver like Pickens. It could be worth picking him and the No. 20 pick. Leaving Kansas City with two selections in the final 10 selections of Round 1.

The money side of the trade will also be an issue, but both teams will try to find solutions to get the player who posted 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns last year.

Paul George spoke to the media for the first time since his suspension, and according to Kyle Neubach of PHLY Sports, the 76ers star did not provide specifics about the reason for the suspension. But he revealed that he had been struggling with a knee problem which made the suspension almost a blessing in disguise.

George is set to return to the 76ers lineup when they host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. They are currently 39-33 and looking to get back in the win column after losing their last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 76ers are currently in the play-in position, but they are just one game behind the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 6 seed and a direct berth in the playoffs.

Before the suspension, George had appeared in 27 games for the 76ers, playing just over 30 minutes per game. He averaged 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals with splits of 42.4 percent shooting from the field, 38.2 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 85.5 percent shooting from the free-throw line.

This is George’s second full season with the 76ers after signing as a free agent during the 2024 offseason. He appeared in only 41 games in his Philadelphia debut last year after his season was cut short due to knee and adductor injuries. Getting him back in the lineup would be a big help as the 76ers are dealing with multiple injuries.

The Dallas Cowboys wasted little time this offseason before placing the franchise tag on wide receiver George Pickens, ensuring that the All-Pro wideout could not reach the open market. The focus now turns to how long he’ll stay in Dallas and whether or not he’ll stay this summer.

Regarding this situation, Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated wrote that he believed it was “likely” for Pickens to eventually sign a one-year franchise tender and play the 2026 NFL season as a contract year.

After being acquired by Dallas last offseason, Pickens enjoyed the best season of his career. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver earned second-team All-Pro honors after setting personal bests in receptions (93), receiving yards (1,429) and touchdowns (nine). ^{He had five 100-yard games and scored a touchdown in eight different contests.}

Pickens, who turned 25 in early March, played in all 17 games and largely shrugged off concerns about his maturity and consistency. He proved he could produce both as a No. 1 receiver when CeeDee Lamb was sidelined and as a secondary target when his fellow All-Pro wideout was on the field.

Dallas will explore contract negotiations with him this summer, but it could prove complicated. The Jackson Smith-Njigba contract extension ($42.15 million average annual value) and Puka Nakua’s impending extension will push the prices of wide receivers even higher.

While Pickens will likely play on the $27.298 million franchise tag, which is fully guaranteed, there is also hope he could stick around during training camp and this saga could extend into August. He will almost certainly suit up for the Cowboys next season, but there remains a lot of doubt about his long-term future in Dallas.

The Washington Wizards will be without Keyshawn George in the lineup for at least three weeks. It is being said that he is suffering from an elbow injury which will take some time to heal.

According to NBA insider Brett Siegel, reports indicate that George, who is 22, is dealing with a partial tear in the UCL in his left elbow. It is said that the Wizards will re-evaluate George’s arm after he sits out three weeks.

“Wizards forward Keyshawn George has a partial tear of the UCL in his left elbow and will be treated conservatively. George will be reevaluated in three weeks.”

The Wizards also provided an injury update on the second-year pro. Washington claims the injury occurred during the club’s 123-118 loss to the Houston Rockets on March 2.

“Washington Wizards forward Keyshawn George suffered a partial tear of the UCL in his left elbow on March 2 against the Houston Rockets. The injury will be treated conservatively, and George will be reevaluated in three weeks. Further updates will be provided at that time.”

With George out of the lineup, the Wizards will likely turn to Will Riley. However, Bub Carrington and Jaden Hardy may get some additional playing time as well. We’ll find out for sure when Washington takes on the Utah Jazz on Thursday.

Due to this injury, George will not be able to play 10 to 11 games. This is approximately half of the remaining competitions on the club’s schedule. Given that the Wizards have a 16-45 record and are in 13th place in the Eastern Conference, it is likely that Keyshawn George will sit out the remainder of the season. Ultimately, it depends on how severe the injury is.

The Utah Jazz host the New Orleans Pelicans at the Delta Center on Saturday night for the second consecutive game. The Pelicans won 129-118 last time out, with Sadiq Bey having a stellar performance of 42 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

The Pelicans have found momentum recently and are currently on a three-game winning streak. Regardless, the Jazz have once again added Keyonte George to the official injury list, as he is listed as questionable due to a right ankle sprain.

George last played for Utah in a loss against the Orlando Magic and is on the injured list along with several players including Lauri Markkanen, who is out with a strained right hip.

Keyontae George injury status vs. Pelicans

George will once again be a game-time decision but his questionable status suggests he could also play a role. Given their recent form and their 18-41 record, they need to get their guard back fit as soon as possible.

This should be another fast-paced matchup like Thursday night when the Pelicans dispatched the Jazz in Salt Lake City. While both teams are currently tied for the bottom of the Western Conference, New Orleans (18-42) will be hoping to pick up another win.

The Pelicans have won four of their last six contests and if George is unable to play, Utah will once again have to rely on the poor second unit that has kept them afloat. The Jazz bench scored 61 points Thursday, including Ace Bailey’s 23 points and Bryce Sensabaugh’s 20 points.

However, Utah’s biggest obstacle remains their weak defense. The Jazz are currently surrendering 125.9 points per game and will need to be better than in recent weeks to have a chance.

And well, the Jazz have several injury concerns to worry about, with both Lauri Markkanen and Keyontae George on the injury list. While Markkanen is listed as probable due to illness, George is questionable due to a right ankle sprain, according to the official injury report.

Of course, the same is true for the Rockets, who are also missing several names for this game.
