Borussia Dortmund’s Daniel Svensson has been asked about the interest shown by a number of clubs including Arsenal and Leeds United.

The Sweden international initially moved to BVB on loan from FC Nordsjælland in February 2025. The Bundesliga side made his stay permanent by using the buyout clause later that year.

Prior to his permanent transfer to Borussia Dortmund, Nottingham Forest had shown serious interest. Fast forward to 2026 and Arsenal and Leeds United have emerged as their new suitors from England.

At the German club, he primarily operates as a left wing-back and has scored six goals and six assists in 60 appearances. This includes four goals and two assists in 39 matches this season.

The acquisition of Lamar Odom in December 2011 was initially heralded as a masterstroke by the Dallas Mavericks’ front office. After winning back-to-back championships and then earning the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award with the Los Angeles Lakers, Odom’s limited production in Dallas led to bitterness with owner Mark Cuban, who once claimed he did not get his money’s worth from the player.
