Manchester United Lens are preparing a major move for midfielder Mamadou Sangare, who has 'caught attention' with his performances this season.
Journalist Sebastian Dennis Manchester United are reportedly preparing to make a bid for the 23-year-old, with a price likely to exceed €40m.

According to the French journalist, Mamadou Sangare has interest from more than a dozen clubs this summer thanks to his performances for the Ligue 1 club.
Primarily a defensive midfielder, he was one of Lens' key players this season. He made 29 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring three times and assisting four times.
He featured in the team that finished second in Ligue 1 under Pierre Sage, as well as winning the Coupe de France, and there is now widespread interest in his services.
Dennis reports that Manchester United have taken notice and are preparing a bid to bring him to Old Trafford this summer. However they have not submitted that bid yet. Nor has any of her other boyfriends made any proposals.
More than €40 million is needed
According to Dennis, the midfielder is currently valued at €40m. But the 'amount' expected to sign him will be 'much higher' than that. Lens paid €8m to sign him from Rapid Vienna last summer. So the French side is eyeing huge profits after just one year.
His current contract with the club is also till 2030. So when it comes to negotiations, the power is very much in their hands.
The French side is already facing a tough summer. Manager Pierre Sage is already departing and is set to join Crystal Palace.
Mamadou Sangare is one of their star players who is also likely to be targeted after his impressive campaign this season.
Manchester United has taken the first step. But given the number of interested parties Dennis reports, he may not be alone.
