Why should the Swede leave Tottenham?
football direct Lucas Bergvall's situation at Tottenham Hotspur is discussed and what the best option could be for him this window.
Journalist Frederic de Roon believes Spurs have long-term plans for the 20-year-old.
However, Roberto De Zerbi has not used him well and is unlikely to change his stance next season. Therefore, he urged Lucas Bergvall to find a new club.
"It's not a huge shock. Spurs are in a pretty dark place and De Zerbi doesn't hold Lucas Bergvall in high regard. He has barely played during De Zerbi's time at Spurs." He said.
“I know Spurs value Bergvall very highly and see him as a big player for the future, but if there is no room for him in this team, then maybe it is time to let him go.
“The amount stated is around SK 560 [€50m] And I think that's a bit low, but if there's so much money on the table, maybe it's just as well to "cut your losses" and let him go. There is no point in keeping a player who does not play.”
Spurs midfielder told to humiliate Chelsea
The outlet points to claims made elsewhere about the Blues as an option for the 20-year-old.
Fredrik De Ron has warned Lucas Bergvall to ignore Chelsea, who have appointed Xabi Alonso as their new manager.
"If I were Lucas Bergvall, I probably wouldn't have chosen Chelsea, mostly based on the fact that it's unclear at all what's going on at that club," DeRon explained.
"Xabi Alonso is coming in as the new coach after the summer. You don't really know what he wants to do with this Chelsea and whether there is a place for Lucas Bergvall."
Signs point towards Bergvall leaving Spurs, and he will need to decide his next destination.
