Toppin looks to return on Thursday against the Hornets. Barring a sudden setback, Toppin should be suiting up for the Pacers against the Hornets tonight.

The forward has been one of the few bright spots for Indiana this season.

As for Toppin, the forward has not played since the Pacers’ second game of the season after suffering a stress fracture. Toppin became a fan favorite in Indiana after playing a key role off the bench in the 2025 postseason. His contributions as a bench sparkplug helped the Pacers finish just one game short of winning the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Simmons injured his wrist during Saturday’s game against the Detroit Pistons. He played 14 minutes and scored four points.

Meanwhile, Jalen Smith was listed as “questionable” due to a left calf strain. Smith was ejected in the third quarter against the New York Knicks on Sunday.

Simmons is averaging 15.2 points and 2.8 rebounds during six games played with Chicago. He arrived in Chicago as part of a trade that sent Nikola Vucevic to the Boston Celtics. Before that trade, Simmons had played 49 games with Boston and averaged 14.2 points per game.

The Bulls are 24-34 and have not won a game this month. After Tuesday, Chicago will be at home and close out the month on Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

On Sunday, the Bulls begin March at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Hornets entered the break winning 11 of 12, remaining in 10th place in the Eastern Conference with a 26–30 record, one game behind the Atlanta Hawks.

The Rockets next take the field to face the New York Knicks on Saturday, while Charlotte will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
